Todd Starnes has worked for Fox, has been a key contributor, let’s see what this well-known insider said:
“So this isn’t a ‘Bash Trump’ debate. This is a ‘Destroy Trump’ debate,” read one of Starnes’ tweets, apparently referring to several times Trump was asked to defends\ his sometimes fluid political positions on issues like abortion. “But Trump is still standing.”

Starnes was also upset with Megan Kelly for asking Walker about his stance on abortion . So was this a destroy Walker debate ? I watched the debate again tonight and tough questions were thrown at every single person on the stage. Only one candidate and only one candidates supporters have been whining about the questions

So your credentials are better than Starnes who is a Fox insider and employee? Alright.

Estesbob your posts on this thread have been most excellent. In your opinion do you think its troubling for Starnes to show such disrespect to Megyn Kelly like that? The person who is going to be on the hot seat will be Bill O’Reilly because he is a good friend to Trump but also like Kelly.

‘Fox News took as its mission bringing The Donald down.’
By Ed Kilgore, liberal commentator, blogger at Washington Monthly’s Political Animal and Managing Editor at The Democratic Strategist.
With our without official GOP complicity, Fox News set it self up in both the undercard forum and the main event as a vetter of candidates from the conservative ideological point of view. That’s a new thing in presidential debates.
The overt attacks on Donald Trump by the moderators in the official debate were breathtaking. Beginning with the opening question asking for a loyalty pledge (which was strictly addressed to Trump even though he had already repeatedly answered it) right on through to Frank Luntz’s focus group demonstration that Trump lost vital support, it’s clear Fox News took as its mission bringing The Donald down. For conservatives always complaining about media bias, this should be troubling.
Since, experienced persons in the field and there are a number of them, say Trump appeared to be targetted, just better to ad hom others as whining I suppose.

I like Megyn but her questions to Trump and her tone were harsh and somewhat unfair.

I think people are underestimating the Donald. His force of personality, and his will to win remind me of someone else that people wrote off as a mere celebrity. Ronald Reagan.

I will say I think my posts are excellent along with others:yeah_me: because I am not accusing others who disagree with me, as “whining”.

When Trump speaks, he is electrifying, I watched him at the Border and watched his speech in Phoenix, both of which are at Newsmax TV. I do get a bit of that from him, he does seem to need to watch his step and to an extent, they do seem out to get him.

Bill O’Reilly will not be involved in any of the debates I don’t think most people have heard of Starnes and most people could not care less what he thinks about Megan Kelly or anyone else

. Yes. Electrifying stupid .

Of The 17 candidates who participated in both debates only one is whining about the questions asked, only one is attacking Megyn Kelley in the most vicious and unseemly manner possible . Trumps performance in the debate and especially after the debate is proof positive he is not fit to be president of United States

But Reagan actually had held elected office previously (he had been governor of California). Trump seems more like a troll sent by the Democratic Party.

Didn’t Trump call Erik Erickson a loser? Was that after he disinvited Trump or before?
After.

On this topic, if no one minds, it is interesting that some of Mr. Trump’s children are Jewish, I guess his ex-wife, maybe 1st one was. I don’t know the details of it.

I totally agree. Case closed.

Israeli National News, Arutz Sheva, even if this writer may well be an American:
Megyn Kelly tried and maybe she tried too hard. Yes, she went after him in what amounted to a duel.
She went after him all right – and now people are saying SHE lost the debate.
She was the big loser, they say, for drilling him – and drill him she did. Yes, she did single him out. But she is famous for that, for “the Kelly Moment.” That’s when she turns merciless even when she faces a fellow Conservative and she is a Conservative.
But she is only doing her job. It’s called Journalism.
Megyn Kelly won big as a journalist Thursday night…as did the entire Fox News team.
But thousands in Tweet-world want her fired from any future debates and plenty more want her fired from Fox, period. Some want the network fired.
Agreed – something is wrong when the Liberal Media, meaning all the rest of them, salute Fox News for a job well done. This can’t be good. When The New York Times congratulates Megyn Kelly it means she did them a favor. Liberal Media needs no help when it comes to blasting Conservatives and bashing Israel.

Looks like it’s a bit deeper than saying the big supporters of Trump are the ones complaining about the debate.

To me, it’s fair but it’s also fair to say, Trump may be blowing his stack likewise over this. It takes two to tango.

Even if Megyn Kelly was a bit harsh on Trump at the beginning of the debate, so what? As a potential presidential candidate and as a man, Trump should be able to take it without all this brouhaha. But the latter is in keeping with his personality.

Maverick;13186679]I like Megyn but her questions to Trump and her tone were harsh and somewhat unfair.
Then it’s going to be a long campaign because Hillary will play that card all day. In fact, the Democrats may still play it even if they have an all-male ticket.

Reagan never complained about the media. Trump is attacking the media head-on, even to to the point of taking this personally it seems. There is a difference.

Trump has the right spirit and right general message, it’s just the execution that’s the problem. And he needs to direct his fire at the DNC, not at FOX for doing their job.
