I propose a new motto for the Trump campaign and followers: “Give 'em enough rope…” Sometimes the best thing to do when faced with a dilemma is to do nothing at all. Just sit back and let natural selection weave its magic. :yup:

Put that proposal in File 13 please!

Good for Trump, he said he’d clean up this country and he’d have veterans do it, veterans who need work.

Those who are so adamantly against Trump should remember the thousands of victims of illegals. Not sure how they can live with themselves.
Why should we trust the words of a man that flipped positions on almost every major issue.

He was for single payer healthcare.
He was for partial birth abortion.
He was for an “assault” weapons ban.

Not only that, he admits to political donations to solicit “favors”…aka crony capitalism

All that said, you want me to believe he just had a big change of heart while discussing politics with the Clintons prior to deciding to run? I’ll believe that when pigs fly.

A billionaire probably can contact ex-Presidents with some ease.

I said Trump’s problem is in trusting him and I’d vote for Christie, Walker, Cruz and Rubio and probably others before him but these names are the top names.

Christie? The guy who stated in the debate that the NSA should be able to collect private data wholesale on the US population, and then propped up 9/11 victims as the reason they should do so?

Rand Paul was right to go after him on on his disregard for the 4th amendment.

I, for one, am very happy to see the back of Rand Paul. Oh, and I am cool with national security, uh, effective national security. I personally think we have a problem with radical Islam.

Yes exactly!! I just don’t understand why so many conservatives like this guy.
There are many good GOP candidates out there who have proven good records, some governors of states, that have actually gotten things done!
Anyone can stand up there and say I’m going to do this and that but I want a DOER not a talker. I’m sorry but Trump SAYS he going to do things well we had that in Obama I would think people would learn.
I want someone who has done something
Christie, Rubio,Walker,Jindahl I even like Ted Cruz.

I heard that Christie may not make the CNN debate because he is 11th in polling and they only take the top ten. I am not sure this is the final decision. It really makes me mad because I think he is one of the three or four top viable candidates. He deserves a hearing. I am almost paranoid enough to suspect that the left fears him and is trying to knock him off because of his appeal to independents, fed up Democrats, plus he is strong on social conservative stuff - a real threat, not a fake one. (I do pretty much dismiss this thinking though as paranoia.) I just hope he stays on the media radar for the next four or five months. Remember these debates don’t determine the election.

Forgive me, but I don’t really understand what’s meant by “see the back of Rand Paul”. As in him being behind in the polls, or as in him having a backbone to stand up for the constitution? Just want to clarify, since I’d not heard that saying before.

The former.

Christie has prosecuted and convicted terrorists. He might know something.

Before I’d go with the points you are stating, I think the data would need to be examined in depth, apparently some of the things people would say such as “collecting phone conversations of every American” etc. may not be absolutely true. I think even the Patriot Act author said his bill was not meant in the way it has been implemented and we have heard criticism of the bill mainly in the past few years.

What American politician has not flip flopped?

If Ron Paul was the nominee, I’d have no hesitation in supporting him. He certainly has not caught on for some reason.

I don’t care what they collect. If they want to collect it, they can get a warrant just like the police have to. It’s simple.

Why not support Rand, he’s the next closest thing to his father.

He stands up against government surveillance.
He’s against abortion.
He see’s the futility of incarcerating people for smoking weed.
He supports gun rights.
He supports religious freedom.
He hasn’t been remarried a 2-3 times like some candidates.
He’s helped restore sight to numerous people in third world countries by providing free eye surgeries.
He actually has some political decorum.

Ted Cruz supported the Patriot act as well. So, I will consider these men more knowledgeable than myself as possibly being correct. It does not mean they are but this is a complex matter.

That’s as sorry of an excuse as I’ve ever heard.
It is sad, but I don’t see any American politician who has not flip flopped? Can you give us the name of one living American politician who has not flip flopped?

Oh, wow. I would like to see him and Carly Fiorina in the CNN debate-even if they have to have two debates like Fox did.
Yes he is a real threat to the Democratic Party.
And in my opinion Trump didn’t do well in that last debate.
I thought Christie, Cruz and Rubio were stellar.
As Fiorina was in the earlier debate.

How can you rationalize government spying simply by saying, “oh, well, Ted Cruz voted for it, so I should just defer to him”???

It’s honestly ironic that the tea party darling voted for an increase in government power.
