At the moment of conception, as has been defined the Church as an article of faith. At what point does the development of a collection cells grow into a human being? This is not related to Faith.
The abuse of non-human creatures is not as offensive to God as the abuse of human creatures. The euphemism “reject procreation” is too broad here. Wearing a condom is rejecting procreation. Abortion is also rejecting procreation. Abortion is also murder. Abortion is therefore more offensive than wearing a condom, and definitely more offensive than being a bad steward.I believe that when we fail in our stewardship of the natural resources entrusted to us, God is just as offended as He is when we reject procreation.
It is the intentional and unjust killing of a human being. I dom’t see where a Catholic, or all people, could come up with the idea that abortion is not murder.Taking a “morning after” pill may or may not be a sin, but I am pretty sure that the sin is not murder.
Also, separation of Church and State is a heresy.
