I just love this laser focus on cases emanating from Sturgis as opposed to the near complete absence of reporting on cases emanating from the protests.
@LeafByNiggle. Now is your chance to really come out hard against all the leftist protesters. After all. It’s about life and death right?

This isn’t about “politics” but putting America at risk. 😉

I haven’t heard any reports about covid infections from protests. I’m sure there are some, I just haven’t heard yet. But I did hear about the cases in Minnesota from the Sturgis rally.

(You mean “protests”, rioting and thuggery right?)

Of course you haven’t.

And then ask yourself WHY that is.
  1. Covid viruses only spread via REPUBLICAN functions.
  2. The media is hiding leftist riotous spread of covid from you on purpose to try to fool you.
  3. The media is overblowing the risks at the peaceful and more politically conservative events in an attempt to artificially harm President Trump and his supporters.
Ask yourself if it could possibly be one or two of these possibilities above.

One of the most common logical mistakes people make is it list some alternative explanations for an observation, and then assume they have listed all possible explanations.
A serious question for Leaf: Is the coronavirus apolitical?
Is the virus itself aware of politics? No. Does it behave as if it were aware of politics? No. Do people behave toward the virus differently depending on their politics? Yes.

Leaf after complaining about Republican crowds
but ignoring
riotous, looting, burning, and thuggish Democrat crowds . . .

When I point out the problems with such “reasoning” I get told my implication I may be lacking “logic” or common sense.

Well be my guest Leaf.

I am all “ears” as to why Democrat crowds are OK,
but Republican crowds
put the whole galaxy at risk of dying any time now.

Oh, no. I’m not going to get roped into doing your legwork. If you want to prove something about crowds and infections and Democrats and Republicans, I think you should be the one to gather the data.

.

Leaf now puts the burden of proof on me to assert Republican crowds are infection risks,
but riotous, thuggish, looting, Democrat crowds are not.

And there ya have it!

That was one of your proposed “alternatives”, not mine. I don’t know what you want to prove, but whatever it is, it is your responsibility to prove it.
