Republican victories for Congressman Scott Perry, senator elect Jeff Flake, senator Deb Fischer, Pat McCrory and more
Who cares. The spin is over, Abyssinia. Romney lost. The Senate candidates lost. Cultural leftism is winning all over. And many of the supporters are ā€œcatholicsā€

Those posting here thinking Obama will now work for a legacy and to unify this country are sadly mistaken.

All the past evidence shows he will not.

We will see the HHS mandate that attacks the corporate Catholic structure go into effect, leading to great difficulties for the Church;

we will see more very liberal Supreme Court judges being appointed which will endanger our Bill of Rights in particular the Second Amendment;

our electric bill will increase significantly, heating oil prices used in winter in the north/northeast will increase significantly (Obama’s EPA is ā€˜killing’ coal and working also on oil - coal plants that provide electricity will either close or need to be completely overhauled, both of which will lead to higher electric bills, and oil plants will need to be overhauled too, again leading to higher prices);

gas will remain double or more than it was in 2008 (the price is high due to speculation -the Obama energy dept likes it high [green reasons] so does nothing to reign in the speculation);

big business will continue to hold back on job increases due to uncertainties, and will cut employee’s hours and hire more part time workers (no health care needed for those who work less than 40 hours/week so restaurant chains, for example, are already planning to cut individual’s hours to no more than 39 1/2).

So unemployment will remain very high, gas will remain high, and bottom line, gridlock will remain for the next four years.

Good luck with that! I suspect there will be ā€˜wailing and gnashing of teeth’ once those who elected Obama realize what they have done, to themselves.

God bless you.

They who voted for Obama have it on their conscience and they will have to answer to God

The idea that liberal Democrat catholics will regret voting for Obama is wishful thinking, beehumble. Maybe they will when they meet their maker, but not in this world.

Pro life Rep Renacci victrious over pro abortion Rep Betty Sutton. Romney/Ryan defeat is terrible but it is not as bad as it could be, because pro lifers could of all been defeated but there have been pro life wins

This is so and I think a good post. We may well see $6 dollar a gallon gas. Honestly and other such things.

But this is only the top where the extreme left won, the Tea Party will remain vibrant. Obama did not win a mandate, he did not win the majority of votes.

Don’t get too discouraged folks.

I know the news is bad but there are still millions of Americans out there who think like or similarly as we do.

It’s a defeat but out of defeat can come new opportunities.

And in Washington. Toke up.

They can get stoned and make a further mockery of holy matrimony, while they are at it.

Please pray for the success of Amendment 1 in Minnesota- it is squeaky close right now!

ā€œCultural-leftismā€. I really like that descriptor and I can own it.

Cultural leftism? Catholic voters? We are living through the great apostasy that comes at the end of the age, the great falling away (of Christians) spoken of by St. Paul and found in the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

God bless you.

I appreciate your optimism, Abyssinia. Thanks. I do not share it. We have probably gone past the point of no return - which I think happened when Obamacare was passed. When you have a majority of the population receiving handouts from the government this is what you get. We are going the way of Europe. ā€œrah rah GOP in 2016ā€ doesn’t do it for me. They have failed.
