You own signature says that the EU demands their member nations to surrender their sovereignty. Macron has vowed sanctions upon Poland for their closed borders- and Poland is the only country in Europe without a terrorist attack in the last several years. That’s not a coincidence.

There’s not going to be a country to be proud of, considering Macron and the EU having an absolute open borders policy.
The operative words in my signature quotation from Pope Pius XII are - “which have agreed to delegate sovereignty”.

The French voted for Macron knowing his views on Europe. Either they agree with him or aren’t bothered by them. So it’s voluntary.

Hey, it’s their funeral. Just hope they don’t come crying to me the next time a peaceful refugee drives a truck into a crowd.

Mid 30s. So IOW not a whole lot less than the Donald has. 🙂

**Macron’s victory becomes clear
Posted at 22:14
The results show the extent of Emmanuel Macron’s national sweep to victory.
Not all the results are in, but Macron areas are in yellow, and only a handful of areas are coloured in grey for Le Pen.**

The former deputy national security adviser to President Obama believes the defeat of Marine Le Pen, and victory for Emmanuel Macron, in the French presidential election shows the end of a wave of nationalistic populism.

“Macron’s win is a blow to far-right nationalism and a sign (after Austrian, Dutch elections) that the Brexit-Trump wave has broken in West,” Rhodes tweeted.

“Today France chose Liberty, Equality & Fraternity over Discrimination, Bigotry & a Stupid Wall,” US Rep Ted Lieu tweeted.

More like learning from America’s mistakes. Good for them.
I haven’t seen a single argument against nationalism that holds water. It always comes down to “waahhh! It’s mean! It’s waycist!”

Meanwhile: “globalism is all about wealth. It knows the price of everything and the value of nothing. Without borders, the world will become- is visibly becoming- a howling desert of traffic fumes, plastic, and concrete, where nowhere is home and the only language is money” -Peter Hitchens

Well, when the left disregards common sense security, attempts to foist them on an unwilling populace, discourages assimilation and then covers up/excuses their vicious attacks on the natives one has to wonder if there is not an ulterior motive regarding these “refugees”.

That is an argument against invading other people’s countries which happens for plenty of reasons, not just nationalism. It is a not an argument against building a wall around my country, laying some minefields, restricting immigration to maintain a white majority, and leaving the globalists to go to Hell in a handbasket.

Who on the left is “disregarding common sense security”? Or is open xenophobia somehow aligned with security now?

Germany in the 1930’s. British imperialism, The Roman empire,

There’s a lot of historical arguments against nationalism. Nationalism has lead to the worship of quite a few false idols that have lead to quite a few historical evils.

And no, I’m not a globalist… But ignoring ignoring the evils that game from nationalist states is naive.

Mine fields? Maintain a “white majority”? Please tell me you’re joking.

What does maintaining a white majority have to do with anything?

Indeed.

All I can say is that I’m breathing a sigh of relief at the result.
