**Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There he is!’ do not believe it.

Matthew 24-23

Once again one has to balance the Bible with all that is said

15"Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16"You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? 17"So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.…"

Please feel free to note any Bad fruits. The Bible does tell us what is a fruit of the spirit and it will not be Doctrine.

Of course many Parables and other passages that will weigh all the supposedly contradictory sayings and put them in a much needed balance.

Thus God Bless the Fruits of Jesus the Christ and Muhammad and the Bab and Baha’u’llah.

Regards Tony

The fruit is rotten when it leads you away from the Church that He started.

When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, 29 because he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law.

Jesus IS the Authority. The Head of the Church. And the Church is His Bride. Join us . No pressure 😃

Post # 62 is what you need to look at.

Will be replying a lot less to these posts.

Jesus told the Jews not to think of him coming to abolish the Law (as if something it was faulty or rotten), but fulfilling it. Jesus also said he is the Lord of the Sabbath.

Straying from this Truth is what is rotten and not to believe it. Don’t take it personal Tony.🙂

Martin it is no personal, so much to talk about and I not going back to the old worn out subjects.

In the year 1869 Bahá’u’lláh wrote to Napoleon III, rebuking him for his lust of war and for the contempt with which he had treated a former letter from Bahá’u’lláh. The Epistle contains the following stern warning:— reference.bahai.org/en/t/o/BNE/bne-182.html

For what thou has done, thy kingdom shall be thrown into confusion, and thine empire shall pass from thine hands, as a punishment for that which thou has wrought. Then wilt thou know how thou has plainly erred. Commotions shall seize all the people in that land, unless thou arisest to held this Cause, and followest Him Who is the Spirit of God (Jesus Christ) in this, the Straight Path. Hath thy pomp made thee proud? By My Life! It shall not endure; nay, it shall soon pass away, unless thou holdest fast by this firm Cord. We see abasement hastening after thee, whilst thou art of the heedless…O banks of the Rhine! We have seen you covered with gore, inasmuch as the swords of retribution were drawn against you; and you shall have another turn. And We hear the lamentations of Berlin, though she be today in conspicuous glory".—Kitáb-i-Aqdas.

These letters to the Kings and Rulers of the world changed the direction of the world, caused every limb of mankind to quake!

Whenever the Bible is used to make a point either NT or the OT, proves that in actuality the Word of God is alive and active. Thus if one uses the NT/OT especially the NT in the case of this thread, one must listen to the Spirit that lead infallible men to put it to writing.

So, it is evident if one wants to use the Bible then follow the Church which put it together (and old subject I know that has be repeated, by yours truly among others), remains part of the daily Liturgy for the Church, so that we don’t forget what Jesus did for Mankind. And we receive him in the Eucharist. As it as been stated, He died for ALL, even if people say “May his blood be upon us and upon our children” Jesus continues to Love them and intercedes to the Father to forgive, even this day and age.

It will be good to remember:

Phlippians 2: 1Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. 3 **Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests **but each of you to the interests of the others.

5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:

6
Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
7
rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
8
And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
by becoming obedient to death—
even death on a cross!

9
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
10
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11
and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

Thus, this enlightening aspect already proclaimed,a long time ago before the 1800’s.

Would you go to the Jewish Elders if you wanted the truth about the coming Messiah in Judaism? (Christ) Think about it.

It was the Jews who didn’t understand their own religion and crucified Christ so do we really see them as knowledgeable in their own scriptures just because they are age old custodians?

If you wanted to know the truth about Judaism wouldn’t you go to Christianity at that time as it had accepted all the prophecies in Judaism regarding the messiah Jesus?

Was then Christianity Rotten when it led people away from Judaism?
Regards Tony
As noted by W.C. Christianity has led millions of pagan people towards the Old Testament Law and the acceptance of the worship of the One Creator.
And , thereby, towards Judaism rather than away from it.

I do not see the teachings of Baha’u’llah as either leading people away from Christianity or as “producing rotten fruit.” The essence of Christianity is the acceptance and following of the two most important Laws: to Love Our Creator, and to love Our Neighbors.

I regard the building and deployment of nuclear weapons by our so-called Christian nation as gross violations of those two commandments. It will lead to no good, and, with all due respect, I believe that the humans who continue to support the building and deployment of these horrible devices are the “rotten fruit” and not the Baha’is or JWs or Quakers, etc.

The worship of freedom ends in sedition, the fire of which is unquenchable.
The freedom which benefits you is in following the Creator’s Law.

SENARIO:
The USA elects a new president, one who takes a “hard line” towards Iran and ISIS. He orders F-35As armed with the B61-12 to destroy Iran’s underground nuclear facilities and possibly attacks ISIS with the same.

Pakistan takes exception to Muslims being attacked with nuclear weapons and supplies either Iran or ISIS or both with nuclear bombs. It takes less than ten pounds of plutonium to make a nuclear weapon if you know how to do it, and Pakistan has developed the necessary technology.

Either ISIS or Iran uses these Pakistan bombs for terrorist attacks against Israel and European targets. Here is where we get to the possibility of the visions of Pope St. Pius X being fulfilled. These visions are too horrific to repeat here. I have said that they involve Vatican City and a “Pope of the same name” (which can only be Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI.)

The advent of Pius X’s vision marks the “beginning of the End Times.”

You keep forgetting the Antichrist in your calculations.

My apologies. In E.T.S.XX I have stated my opinion that the anti-Christ has already come and gone.
(Yeah, it’s later than we think.)

He has to come at the very end, along with Jesus coming back.**

pretending that Jesus’ relationship to judaism and the jews is reflected in bab or bahaullah’s relationship to christianity is ridiculous. such a comparison illustrates aptly and vividly how different was the relationship of Jesus to judaism and the relationship of bahaullah to christianity.

Jesus was a jew. in fact, He was the most pre-eminent of all jewish scholars. the new testament demonstrates repeatedly how Jesus fulfilled the prophecies present throughout jewish history. Jesus was rejected by the religious leaders of His faith for at least two known reasons. first, He had made Himself God. second, He was a threat to their worldly power.

bahaullah was not a christian. in fact, bahaullah had virtually no connection to christianity. he postively had no faith connection to christianity.

since the time of Jesus, no christian prophets have prophesied that someone would come along to complete Jesus’ teachings. thus, bahaullah claiming to be some type of successor to Jesus comes completely out of bahaullah it does not come out of christianity.

Jesus fulfilled the jewish prophets. bahaullah has virtually no connection to the christian faith much less the RC magisterium.

bahaullah, having never been a christian, could not be rejected by christianity in the same manner Jesus was rejected by the jewish authorities. in fact, bahaullah is rejected by christians for the opposite reason, he never had a concrete or organic connection to christianity even though he claimed to replace Christ in God’s plan for mankind.

i write this because the bahai repeatedly state that christians rejection of bahaullah is similar to the jews rejection of Jesus. as shown above, this is a ridiculous comparison that has no relationship to reality. the jews’ rejection of Jesus is totally different from christians’ rejection of bahaullah. it is best for christians when faced with this false comparison to recognize in those who make it, that they are guided by profound ignorance. what ever point they might be trying to make in using this vacuous comparison can be dismissed easily as itself also erroneous.
