Still think progressivism can triumph over radical Islam?

Farage frequently gets arguments like that. It’s not about being isolated or anti-Europe. It’s about accepting reality and what is practical.Neither has isolationism ever done good to anyone.

We all know, the UK was somewhat spared the worse of World War II because of it’s geographical location. Even then, they still were walloped badly. It’s isolation indeed, did help them. The EU is breaking down on every front, and I doubt most citizens in the Eurozone want the EU.
I meant integration among the European nations, as to law enforcement and counterterrorism; as opposed to restoring the old walls and visas. Many of the immigrants don’t want to integrate. And what does that really mean in certain cases, anyways? Accept so-called gay “marriage” and other liberal social values without question?
Sorry, but I can’t advise anyone to do that.
Besides, what incentive is there for immigrants to integrate? Western and Northern Europeans are so PC today, it’s insane.
They say “integration”, the new arrivals say racism and islamophobia. Then it’s case closed, mostly.
There is tendency among some Westerners to hate their country—even if they can’t be bothered to pack up and leave it.
So really, if the natives say the place is evil, why should immigrants be expected to think any differently?
True, because In a letter to al-Zarqawi in July 2005, Ayman al-Zawahiri outlined a plan to expel US forces from Iraq,So it’s all America’s fault
Are you sbsolutely sure of that? They seem to have a beef with some Muslims as well.True. And ISIS was founded as a reaction against American intervention in the Middle East.
The Reason ISIS came to Power is because Russia, Putin, The USSR, has been supporting for 40 years, a regime in Syria that has been blowing up its own civilians, from Hafez Assad to Bathar Assad, furthermore, Syria and Iran have been bad actors in the whole area, aiding the effort against the US when they were Iraq, Assad opened up the prisons that held radicals and sent them to Iraq, General Soleimani of the QUDS units in Iran is responsible for up to the deaths of 500 US servicemen. I dare anyone to debunk these facts. Are you sbsolutely sure of that? They seem to have a beef with some Muslims as well.
Many are economic migrants taking advantage of the opportunity to get free healthcare, housing, and a better paying job. I find such motives 100% pure from the individuals perspective. For the record, if you see today’s news headlines, Italy saved 3000 migrants in one single day!
Amazing, if Libya is so bad, why are migrants crossing over it to sail to Europe? I have heard one person from Libya say it is not too bad there but that was a short blurb on tv, I have no way to know.
Still, Syrians fleeing Syria do seem to have a valid reason, other places, I’m not so sure about.
Yea, that group which despises any move towards an elected Govt, by the people.True. And ISIS was founded as a reaction against American intervention in the Middle East.
Then how do you explain the letter to al-Zarqawi sent in July 2005, by Ayman al-Zawahiri in which he outlined a plan to expel US forces from Iraq? Also how do you explain the fact that on October 12, 2006, the Mutayibeen Coalition swore by Allah to rid Sunnis from the American occupiers and then the next day on October 13, 2006, they declared the establishment of the Islamic State of Iraq (ISI)?You can’t blame ISIS on America, their cruelty is all self made.
Zarquawi, in 2005 also declared war on all Shiites. It wasn’t the U.S. in particular he hated, it was everybody who didn’t adhere to his own brand of radical Islam. Radical islam nearly assassinated Nasser and did assassinate Sadat. It doesn’t need the U.S. or any other westerners to be a savage, self-righteous criminal organization. Then how do you explain the letter to al-Zarqawi sent in July 2005, by Ayman al-Zawahiri in which he outlined a plan to expel US forces from Iraq? ISI was formed as a reaction to the Bush led US invasion of Iraq. One of its stated goals was to expel the US from the region.Radical islam nearly assassinated Nasser and did assassinate Sadat. It doesn’t need the U.S. or any other westerners to be a savage, self-righteous criminal organization.
Sure, along with the Shia, the Yazidis, the Christians, the Kurds, the Druze and all Sunni who are not fully in line with ISIS ideology. ISIS is a metastasis of Al Quaeda, which is a metastasis of the Muslim Brotherhood. ISIS formed its power, not in Iraq, but in Syria, from whence it invaded Iraq.ISI was formed as a reaction to the Bush led US invasion of Iraq. Unfortunately, the only ones it could not drive from the region were Iran and the U.S. The U.S. left, so Iran is the only remaining contender at present.
The Defense Intelligence Agency gave Obama its recommendation of the number of troops it would take to block ISIS out of Iraq in any numbers. The transit from Syria into Iraq is mountainous in parts, all wide-open desert with no natural cover, and with few passable roads. Obama wouldn’t do it. That was well before Obama called ISIS the “JV team”, so apparently he either didn’t believe the DIA’s opinion that ISIS was a threat to Iraq, or he believed it and didn’t care.if the u.s. had not left ISIS might not be in Iraq today.
