Everybody read your post carefully and critically after reading this:
Yesterday on national TV Trump suggested Covid be treated by injecting light into the body and/ or inject disinfectant into their body.
He yelled at a reporter saying ," I am the president, and you are fake news," when asked if he meant to reccomend injecting disinfectant into the body as a cure for Covid.
He then proposed it for the doctors telling them to research if injecting disinfectant in the body would help." And also putting " light into the body."
I’m tired of terms like TDS being used to defend statements like this. Watching those poor doctors struggle to not be dragged into loosing their credibility so they can potentially save lives.
The president discussed injecting disinfectant yesterday because he can count on people discrediting my post today. Meanwhile the number of US deaths approach the number in the entire Viet Nam War.

The company that makes Lysol is urging customers not to consume its cleaning products after President Donald Trump suggested the possibility of injecting disinfectants to protect people from coronavirus.

Reckitt Benckiser (RBGLY), a British company, warned Friday that human consumption of disinfectant products is dangerous. It issued the statement following “recent speculation and social media activity.”

“As a global leader in health and hygiene products, we must be clear that under no circumstance should our disinfectant products be administered into the human body (through injection, ingestion or any other route),” the company said in a statement.

RB said products should only be "used as intended and in line with usage guidelines.

Fact Check: No, the media did not accuse Trump of telling people to “Inject Themselves with Disinfectant”. That accusation may have been made by some left-wing extremists, but it never was a serious accusation by established media.
 
The product manufacturers put out a warning not to drink , or inject their product. And no amount of revisionism can make their feeling of need to warn can change the necessity of their actions.
You see they exist in the real.
Trump’s word…INJECTION.
I GUESS IF YOU ACT LIKE HE DIDNT SAY IT, then you can act like he didn’t say it. But he did say injection.

did you listen to what the guy speaking before him said. he talked about how sunlight and various disinfectants killed the virus. Trump asked the question if that could somehow be used in people. It was a question, not a suggestion. you can think its a stupid question but its not what people are making it out to be.

Sorry there are limits to what excuses can account for beyond which people begin wondering if their government has lost touch with reality. Just the attempt to normalize itself is out of control.

No, it was because you think that the president was actually suggesting people do that. he asked the question if the successes of those substances on surfaces could translate it use in humans. only “fish tank guy” level of foolishness thinks what you do, although i have a feeling you dont actally think that but just have a need to twist things to make someone you dont like look bad.

This is so ridiculous.

Of course there are components in disinfectants and sunlight that kill viruses. It is a normal question to ask if there is a way that can be used to deliver inside the body components that we know can kill the virus outside the body.

There has to be a very heavy dose of TDS to think Trump is suggesting injecting common usage disinfectants and sunlight in their entirety without medical approval into your body. Honestly this is like all the bad interpretations and projections atheists used to put on Christians.

First you assume your opponent is an idiot, then you assume his followers or fellow travellers are idiots, then you imaginer something that is so idiotic that your opponent and his followers would and actually do believe it. Then you call them idiots.

God this is ridiculous.

Let’s be honest this started from day one of hating Trump and his followers and believing how these people are deplorables and shouldn’t be in power and then twisting the mind time after time in order to justify that hate.

Please stop.

A normal and sane response would just be to gently note that Trump is not saying people self inject any disinfectant that comes to hand and everyone would agree, including President Trump and we can continue in a civilised fashion.

Instead the brain is in constant TDS mode trying desperately to get people to validate such a condition.

Nor any reason to think they would. The entire Sahara region turned from a fertile land to a desert during human existence. Perhaps it caused wars, but we have no evidence that it did.

That may have been a normal thing to ask by someone unschooled in elementary biology. But suggesting that to biomedical scientists working in this century on cures for diseases is ridiculous.

It paints a picture for political purposes rather than being a fair or charitable description.

It is so ridiculous and after three years, sadly, so predictable.

I honestly hope that President Trump is re-elected in a landslide and people start realising and re-assessing such uncharitable tactics. This uncharitable hate has gone on for long enough.

I would ask you to refrain from telling me what my intentions are, expecially when you assert them to be uncharitable. Please consider editing the remark.

Biomedical science in this century is very sophisticated. Suggestions of the sort offered by the POTUS yesterday are not helpful to any one, and they are potentially harmful. I am glad that people were on the spot to discount it, and that manufacturers have also made public announcements about the proper use of disinfectants. And yes, to hold up such suggestions are though they are somehow helpful discounts the learning in the field back to a very elementary level.

It is neither uncharitable nor hateful to criticize the people - especially those is a position of responsibility and influence - for giving uninformed and/or off the cuff medical advise. I have had conversations on this very point with people that I love, but who need to exercise their responsibilities more carefully.

It may be worth considering that the reading of hate into legitimate criticism is what has gone on far too long.
