After doing some reading on the subject, so called ā€œintelligentā€ design seems to be promoted only by a conservative political think tank called Discovery Institute. And even federal courts in the US have declared intelligent design to be ā€œnot scienceā€.

Is this about politics? Who said that I was a leftist?

I am Catholic, I accept the teachings of the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church has repeatedly stated over the centuries that science does not contradict Catholic teachings.

Being anti-science is being anti-God. God made the universe the way it is, not the way anyone would want it to be. Evolution is an extremely well supported scientific theory and literally occurs all the time.
 
You showed me some random audio clip thatā€™s supposedly from The Royal Society. Itā€™s not peer reviewed, nor is the clipā€™s origin even verified.

Why are you still in denial about the basics of biology?
 
Intelligent design literally casts God as a magician. Pope Francis, our Holy Father, has stated the very same.

If intelligent design is real, then why is it so hard to find evidence to support it?

Stop right there. It is mandatory that the science is correctly done and correctly reasoned. Science by its pwn definition is provisional. So, when science overturns a previous finding, did they or do they now contradict Church teachings. Not all science is correct and corrections are made. Surely, you must understand this.
 
Which findings have overturned the theory of evolution?

Also, how does this prove intelligent design?

Because they are plain wrong. It was only a few decades ago I studies the cell that was a blob of protoplasm. Now we see factories and astounding complexity. That basic biology was wrong. Biology is evolving. šŸ˜€
 
Because it assumes that God is hiding his work, which is theologically not true and scientifically not factual.

The process of science is the process of knowing the mind of God, and God has given us all the tools to further our understanding of the physical world around us. What would God gain by hiding his methods or works?

Intelligent design implies that God is hiding his methods from humans and that it is somehow impossible to understand that mechanisms of life.
 
But youā€™ve repeatedly denied scientifically verifiable results. You donā€™t get to tell God what to think.

God doesnā€™t hide anything, God isnā€™t a magician.
