- It wasn’t a Catholic day care
My apologies, I assumed it was after reading that the Mexican Archbishop was defending it.
- There is absolutely no question that the little girl is the innocent victim here.
Okay.
- The day care center is not the one who has wronged this child. **Her father is.
**
Okay.
- There is only so much that a school can do to try to fix the wrong a parent has inflicted. It cannot participate in a sinful fiction in order to do so.
May I ask, did Jesus condone Zacchaeus’s sins by dining with him?
"7 Everyone who saw this started grumbling, “This man Zacchaeus is a sinner! And Jesus is going home to eat with him.”
- School officials need to be concerned with **all of the children **in their care – not just the ones whose parents have a political agenda to push.
May I ask what the harm is that befalls these other children by admitting this little girl into their day care centre?
- The father has lots of other options for their child’s care. He chose to use his little girl as a publicity tool for his same-sex marriage agenda.
May I ask how you know he is using his little girl as a publicity tool for his SSM agenda? and if that is the case, shouldn’t we rise above that sort of thing? as I said above, did Jesus condone Zacchaeus’s sins by dining with him?
Are we somehow condoning the parents sins by admitting their child into the day care centre?
7 Everyone who saw this started grumbling, “This man Zacchaeus is a sinner! And Jesus is going home to eat with him.”
- Even though this was not in the US, where freedom of religion is guaranteed, the principal of freedom of religious expression is a universal Catholic teaching. The owners of this day care should not be expected to stifle their beliefs in order to help this parent push his agenda on the children and their parents.
May I ask how they are pushing their agenda onto the children and their parents?
- Random proof texting does not help your position. Jesus welcomed the sinner. He did not encourage or support their sins nor did he advocate spreading acceptance to sin to other innocents. Don’t forget what he said about the millstone.
Of course, so like I said, did Jesus somehow condone Zacchaeus’s sins by dining with him?
Does the day care centre somehow condone the sexual acts of homosexuality by admitting this child?
This is a clear case of needing to meet the needs of the many. I use Catholic school, for one reason, to avoid the necessity of having to explain things to a child that is not age appropriate.
So you would condemn this little girl for this same reason? to avoid the necessity of having to explain things to a child that is not age appropriate?
And when you remove this little girl from the day care centre, why do you think these questions still wont be asked?
Just because society has digressed to the point that homosexuality is accepted as normal, God has not.
I agree.
This is not a distinction that can easily be taught a child. So what do I do? I have to teach how really, really bad this disease is that is choking us. If the child is too young, then he may not learn the disinction of hate the sin and love the sinner.
So what is your plan? how do you explain to your child about other kids parents who may be living sinful lifestyles?
I would think that parents ought to have the ability to send their children to a daycare center which will not require them to have to explain sexual deviancy to their children at such a young and impressionable age.
Hey JimG
May I ask why you believe, that by refusing admittance to this little girl, these kind of questions wont come up?
Now by refusing admittance to this little girl, her only influence will be by her homosexual parents and those who condone such a lifestyle.
May I ask, Is it right to refuse admittance to this little girl because of her parents lifestyle? did she choose such actions and thus choose such consequences?
Do you believe it is righteous, just or christian like, to refuse admittance to this little girl, has she done something wrong? I cannot see past this reality and thus why I make such a decision on it.
This is what is puzzling to me, unless this child’s father has an agenda, why would he want his baby girl to go to a school that will teach his baby girl to understand her father is living in a sinful and “gravely disordered” life style?
This is what is puzzling to me, why would people refuse admittance to this little girl into a school in which she can learn the truth?
I’m afraid the agenda which placed this child in the crosshairs of politics is the agenda owned by this father, his “partner”, and the gay lobby.
So when Jesus dinned with sinners, did he condone their sins?
"10 The Son of Man came to look for and to save people who are lost.”
How do we save those who are lost, by sending them away?
God Bless
