Someone above made reference to the Baha’i view of Satan or the devil…

Baha’is do not believe in a supernatural or ontological being in opposition to God such as the devil or “Satan”…

*The reality underlying this question is that the evil spirit, Satan or whatever is interpreted as evil, refers to the lower nature in man.
*
(Abdu’l-Baha, The Promulgation of Universal Peace, p. 294)

*The attributes of God are love and mercy; the attribute of Satan is hate. Therefore, he who is merciful and kind to his fellowmen is manifesting the divine attribute, and he who is hating and hostile toward a fellow creature is satanic. God is absolute love, even as Jesus Christ has declared, and Satan is utter hatred. Wherever love is witnessed, know that there is a manifestation of God’s mercy; whenever you meet hatred and enmity, know that these are the evidences and attributes of Satan.

Another HUGE difference between Catholicism and Bahaism .

Where in the Qur’án can we find this…

‘Abdu’l-Bahá…

In the Qur’án it is said: “And We sent Our Spirit unto her, and He appeared unto her in the shape of a perfect man,” meaning that the Holy Spirit took the likeness of the human form, as an image is produced in a mirror, and he addressed Mary.

In the Bible

Luke 1:26-"Six months after Elizabeth knew she was to become a mother, Gabriel was sent from God to Nazareth. Nazareth was a town in the country of Galilee. 27 He went to a woman who had never had a man. Her name was Mary. She was promised in marriage to a man named Joseph. Joseph was of the family of David. 28 The angel came to her and said, “You are honored very much. You are a favored woman. The Lord is with you. *You are chosen from among many women

In the Koran

"And mention in the Book, Maryam *, when she withdrew from her family to a place facing east. She placed a screen from them; then We sent to her our angel (Jibrael, or Gabriel), and he appeared before her in the form of a man in full human form.

She said: ‘I seek refuge with The Most Beneficent [God] from you, if you do fear Him.’

(The angel) said: ‘I am only a Messenger from your Lord, (to announce) to you the gift of a righteous son.’

She said:‘How can I have a son, when no man has touched me, nor am I unchaste?’

He (the angel) said:‘So (it will be), your Lord said: ‘That is easy for Me: And to appoint him as a sign to mankind and a mercy from Us (from God)’, and it is a matter (already) decreed (by God).’ " (Quran 19:16-21)

There is nothing unBiblical about what Abdu’l-Baha asserts 🙂

Where in the Bible does Jesus use these words…

‘Abdu’l-Bahá…

“This Sun will be resplendent, this Light will shine, My grace will surround the world, and all My enemies will be brought low.”

DEAR CATHOLIC FRIENDS,

I wish to know if Christ was resurrected as the same physical body as what He had before crucifixion or a glorified body?

Is a glorified body the same as a physical body?

Thank you 🙂

.
The Transfiguration

After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.

Ok, so I see you are pulling each word apart and not looking at the intent behind the Talks.

This book has had a recent release as it was found some of the Translation needed to be revised.

I think this is the latest Reprint - bahai.org/library/authoritative-texts/abdul-baha/some-answered-questions/#r=saq_en-preface-first-edition

If not the Old version printed side by side with the new is here - bahai.org/library/authoritative-texts/abdul-baha/some-answered-questions/#r=saq_en-preface-first-edition

After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord. John 20:20

Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have." Luke 24:39

Yes it was the same body that was once dead and yes his body was physical as it says in the Gospels.
So what Saint Paul meant to say was:

“It is sown a physical body, it is raised a physical body”???

David, how does he know what happen was he there ?
He knew because He was endowed with infallible knowledge by God.

Was ill all week and the wife used some ultra sound on my back and now I can breathe again properly.

It’s so good to feellike I can breathe again and talk with wonderful people again. So blest I am.

You’re working with a false spiritual/physical dichotomy in which the physical cannot be imbued with the spirit. Paul meant what he said, you are the one making the error of thinking the body cannot be spiritual.

Christ says “The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you–they are full of the Spirit and life”.

Well, I agree that a body can be spiritual, but then it is not a physical body any more.

A clear distinction between two different body types is made by Paul and it cannot be glossed over…

This means the flesh counts for nothing when trying to understand the spiritual things that he was talking about… the Eucharist.

**Those who are unspiritual do not receive the gifts of God’s Spirit, for they are foolishness to them, and they are unable to understand them because they are discerned spiritually. Those who are spiritual discern all things, and they are themselves subject to no one else’s scrutiny.

1 Corinthians 2:1-16

For the mind of the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace:

Romans 8:6**

Yes, it’s not a physical body.

It’s both, the glorified body has properties of physical, and spiritual substance , but we know why Jesus can’t rise with a physical body. It’s because this doesn’t fit the Baha’is teaching of people changing into other people. If Jesus had rose from the dead with a physical body he could have never morphed into Muhammad. This is why you and your religion so desperately tries to deny a physical resurrection.

Another HUGE difference between Catholicism and Bahaism .

Which part of St.Paul talks about the glorified body being both spiritual and physical?

I think St.Paul is emphatic. It is sown a PHYSICAL body, and raised a SPIRITUAL body.

Also, speculating why we do this or do that is tiresome, and frankly, shows you are unable to provide good apologetics…

We are being Biblical with our explanation.

Personally I think it’s worse for Jesus if He Was just a physical resurrection, there are so many physical resurrections in the Bible. Nothing unique at all…

Man is spirit ,and flesh right now, but this flesh will decay but in heaven one day it will be changed into supernatural flesh. Only Jesus and Mary have their Glorified Bodies in heaven now, but at the last trumpet a time will come when all in heaven will get their spirit changed into Glorified flesh like Jesus and Mary bodies are.

Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.…
