Because the church doesn’t want to be involved doesn’t mean it isn’t encouraging it to happen…

.
Encouraging nations to embrace the moral principles of Christianity is a far cry from trying to implement a one world Language.

I am still yet to hear from my question in #95

Didn’t Abdu’l Baha, taught that the resurrection of Jesus from the dead “…is a spiritual and divine fact, and not material…,” even though the Bible is clear about it being a physical event (John 2:19-21; 20:20; Luke 24:15; Acts 2:32). If Jesus was resurrected physically from the dead, that would place Him in a position superior to Baha’u’llah, and nullify all Baha’i claims. My question is, on what authority are the co-founders, Baha’u’llah and Abdu’l Baha, able to change the clear teaching of the Bible–other than their claim to have such authority? Anyone can make such claims.

Hi Jimmy, the authority given to Baha’u’llah is the same authority given to Jesus to change the Law of the Sabbath.

.

But Baha’u’llah is not Christian
Why is our focus so worldly?

It is the Word we care about. If it Incarnates in a man or a woman or a person born to a Jewish family or a person born to a Muslim family or an indigenous family is of worldly importance.

Let us look at the Authority given from a Higher Source.

When St.Peter stated “My Lord and my God”, he wasn’t thinking thank God Jesus came from a Jewish background…

.

But Baha’u’llah is not Christian
He would be the First and the Last 😉 Christian, as He would be the First and Last Muslim and the First and Last Baha’i.

Christ also.- The opening of the Tablet of the Universe, as noted above, explains this in such a wonderful awe inspiring way.

“Praise be to God Who hath ever caused His Names and Attributes to penetrate the degrees of existence; Who hath made the effects of those Names and Attributes to shine resplendent and their signs to be firmly established in both the hidden and manifest worlds…” …“He hath ordained these Names and Attributes to be the first and foremost origin and cause of being in the world of creation and the source of the different grades of realities in the degrees of existence…” “…In this manner they became arranged in a perfectly ordered system, each one a handiwork of consummate fashioning and manifest beauty, each one an enduring creation and a conclusive proof. Glory be to Him Who attracted them, laid firm hold on them, imbued them with effulgence, ordered them and set them in motion; and far from His glory be that which any of his creatures can affirm of Him or attribute to Him…”

That was St. Thomas who use those words …not try to nitpick 🙂

Let us look at the Authority given from a Higher Source.

.
This higher source and final source is Jesus
The name Jesus means “God saves”. The child born of the Virgin Mary is called Jesus, “for he will save his people from their sins” (Mt 1:21): “there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

The title “Christ” means “Anointed One” (Messiah). Jesus is the Christ, for “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power” (Acts 10:38). He was the one “who is to come” (Lk 7:19), the object of “the hope of Israel” (Acts 28:20).

Who is your Authority for staying and asserting such things Jimmy?

.

Ah yes, the same Authority I speak from…🙂

.
683 "No one can say ‘Jesus is Lord’ except by the Holy Spirit."1 “God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, 'Abba! Father!”'2 This knowledge of faith is possible only in the Holy Spirit: to be in touch with Christ, we must first have been touched by the Holy Spirit. He comes to meet us and kindles faith in us. By virtue of our Baptism, the first sacrament of the faith, the Holy Spirit in the Church communicates to us, intimately and personally, the life that originates in the Father and is offered to us in the Son.

Baptism gives us the grace of new birth in God the Father, through his Son, in the Holy Spirit. For those who bear God’s Spirit are led to the Word, that is, to the Son, and the Son presents them to the Father, and the Father confers incorruptibility on them. And it is impossible to see God’s Son without the Spirit, and no one can approach the Father without the Son, for the knowledge of the Father is the Son, and the knowledge of God’s Son is obtained through the Holy Spirit.3

“You do not know?”

Every Catholic Church I have visited (and I have visited a few), the church priest has stated that he can see the Holy Spirit is very much alive and well among the Baha’is and working through us to such an extent it is tangible by him.

Every church…

Yesterday I had some of the local Catholic church youth come to visit the Baha’i Centre. They all said that the work of the Baha’is is inspired by the Holy Spirit and wanted to collaborate with us in our work in the community…

That’s good enough for me 🙂

Same Authority Jimmy 🙂

So we mold our own beliefs on what God is?

So we mold our own beliefs on what God is?
Would it not be more appropriate to say we Submit to Gods Word and His Laws.

Me, myself, I and my Shadow are but of this World prone to neglecting God. 😉

You expect that from the Jews don’t you?

😉

I’ll tell you something, there is less of a leap in our understanding of God from Christianity to Baha’i than there is from Judaism to Christianity 🙂

Nice deflection. The topic of the tread is “Bahaism” not Judaism. But I was expecting that from the Baha’i

Yes that would be appropriate. Jesus’s words and his Commandments.
