False Devotion to Mary

Stop using Jesus against Mary.

Devotion is necessary for salvation. The whole Church honours Our Lady.

Personal devotion i.e:- conscious personal devotion, is not (necessarily)…

Although it can be argued, that even those people who have been saved outside the visible confines of Sacramental Life - because on some level of their being they conformed to the Will of God in their lives (probably via conscience) and in so doing were also part of the Church spiritually - also pertained to the desires of the Blessed Virgin Mary, as she is the Mother and Beginning of the Church.

Maybe you could start by meditating on what She has done for us by consenting to be the Mother of our Savior. God Bless, Memaw

This passage is taken straight from Lumen Gentium, where we read

*Therefore the Blessed Virgin is invoked by the Church under the titles of Advocate, Auxiliatrix, Adjutrix, and Mediatrix. This, however, is to be so understood that it neither takes away from nor adds anything to the dignity and efficaciousness of Christ the one Mediator.

For no creature could ever be counted as equal with the Incarnate Word and Redeemer. Just as the priesthood of Christ is shared in various ways both by the ministers and by the faithful, and as the one goodness of God is really communicated in different ways to His creatures, so also the unique mediation of the Redeemer does not exclude but rather gives rise to a manifold cooperation which is but a sharing in this one source.

The Church does not hesitate to profess this subordinate role of Mary.*

You could mediate on what her Son has done for us by His Passion and death on the cross.
 
The Mediatrix, Mary, between Jesus and mankind, is different to that of the Mediator, Jesus to the Father.

While Our Lady adds nothing to God, she neither takes away:

‘This, however, is to be so understood that it neither takes away from…’.

But this truth as guarded by the Catechism is not stating that Mary’s role is unnecessary; rather, it clearly states that Jesus, as God Himself, can be neither added to, nor depreciate, at the hands of anything or anyone in Creation, in efficaciousness.

If this were the case, then Our Lady would not be given these titles (roles).

Why would it be meaningless? Are we not also called to give a personal fiat to God?
Surely her assent to His will has meaning and, had she declined, this would also have had meaning.

Does anyone here not think Our Lady is well pleased with her son, Don Ruggero? A man that spends much of his life talking about Our Lady to groups of people?
Are Priests like this not a gift to us from Jesus, to enable understanding of His Mother?

Is Our Lady better pleased and better served as Saint #1 , by a man of the cloth who spends, and spent , many years in study and teaching her Theology

Or

By Laity that have read a few books , take chunks of writing from different areas to try to win an argument, without listening.

Let the Holy Spirit guide us. Pray to St Joseph, a powerful Intercessor, and the most. Haste spouse of Our Lady.
Pray to Our Lady that her messages at Fatima:

Reparation
Penance
Prayer
Quit sinning
Obedience to the Church that belongs to her Son

Start being heard and discussed, instead .

The primary message of Our Lady at Fatima was Reparation and Penance

Why are you all missing this?

Please stop using status to make your arguments for you. It is tiresome.

This is a faith community.

One is to argue on the side of truth - unless you are judging others?
 
No she did not die at the time our Lord died, but her heart was pierced with a sword of sorrow.
