Lucy…you got sum splainin to do!![]()
You are absolutely right! We need A LOT of catechesis in MA and not just for the men. Most of the people who are volunteering in the parish (CCD) are women. I hear some of the things they teach these kids and it is scaryI usually dooo…![]()
Seriously though…don’t you think that the women are being left out??? I mean really I went to a Women’s Conference in Worcester a few years ago and the main speaker was an ex nun…w/ IMO, a Feminist Agenda…and I don’t mean getting us into conferences either…

Great! You are absolutely right! We need A LOT of catechesis in MA and not just for the men. Most of the people who are volunteering in the parish (CCD) are women. I hear some of the things they teach these kids and it is scary! More conferences with authentic Catholic teaching is vital.
The funny thing is that yesterday, when I went to teach my CCD class, the DRE and I were talking about this same subject. She was talking about how we need a Women’s Conference, especially in light of this being the 2nd Men’s Conference in Boston. I called her as soon as I saw this and she was thrilled.
Hopefully, this is the start of something big!
I know the feeling, our former Pastoral Assoc once told me and a small group of women parishoners that we had to work had to get those conservatives out of our Church and start working hard for Women’s OrdinationGreat! The DRE in my parish thinks that Hillary Clinton is the best thing since sliced bread…
Do I need to say more???

They’re all around us! I’m one of the only women in my parish who doesn’t want to see her become president!I know the feeling, our former Pastoral Assoc once told me and a small group of women parishoners that we had to work had to get those conservatives out of our Church and start working hard for Women’s Ordination![]()
(luckily for us you’ll notice the “former”)
At leastThey’re all around us! I’m one of the only women in my parish who doesn’t want to see her become president! Some of the so-called Catholic women here in MA need a good “shaking”…IMO…

Well??? What did he say?? You started it now finish it! Quit putting us in suspense!Interesting, when I saw Fr.Corapi in Brooklyn in May he had a few words to say about Sen Kennedy and Sen Kerry Specifically…
Now, one can dream can’t they? I don’t think they attend anything veryi faithful to the Catholic church.Maybe your Catholic Senators can attend?![]()
I wonder if any of the women that need to hear him would think of attending? I tend to think that the people that follow Fr, Corapi are already in the faithful column. They’re all around us! Sorry about that Cathgal, I post speratically. He said that Bishops don’t need to excommunicate Catholic politicians like Sen Kerry and Sen Kennedy when they speak out for abortion, they excommunicate themselves from the Chruch when they do such things. I was encouraged by the audiences reaction which was resounding applause.Well??? What did he say?? You started it now finish it! Quit putting us in suspense!![]()
Well…we can always live in hope!:yup: One only needs to hear him once and can be converted…see the light!I wonder if any of the women that need to hear him would think of attending? I tend to think that the people that follow Fr, Corapi are already in the faithful column.
Well Mijoy DH and sons are thinking about going so I’m sure you could sit w/ them…I have mixed feelings about his coming to Boston.
I will be attending the CMC and enthusiastically await hearing Fr Corapi and Scott Hahn on the same day. I almost can’t believe it.
However, I feel very alone. Having heard them both many many times before (on TV) I already know how dynamic and thought provokiing and wonderful their talks are. I desire others that I know to experieince it. However I know anybody I may bring this up to will politely decline and I will sit there alone (I mean with respect to individuals I would love to have be there with me).
One thing I have learned since coming back to faith; it can be lonely.
Thanks so much. I am actually going with my parish, ona bus I believe. I didn’t mean to imply I had no one to go with, I menat only to state that I wish cerrtain people in my life desired to go.Well Mijoy DH and sons are thinking about going so I’m sure you could sit w/ them…![]()
I understand what you mean, I have been trying to get my husband to go. However, no one in our lives or parish are interested and he doesn’t want to go alone. I even talked with the head of our local KofC and there are not interested in getting a group of men together to go. It really is sad! Thanks so much. Thank you, though, what a nice gesture.
Darn!!! I’d love to see him too.I know…I’m disappointed… Father Groeschel is coming to Worcester in April for their Men’s Conference…Can’t go to that either cause it’s just for men…
