Seriously though…don’t you think that the women are being left out??? I mean really I went to a Women’s Conference in Worcester a few years ago and the main speaker was an ex nun…w/ IMO, a Feminist Agenda…and I don’t mean getting us into conferences either…

The funny thing is that yesterday, when I went to teach my CCD class, the DRE and I were talking about this same subject. She was talking about how we need a Women’s Conference, especially in light of this being the 2nd Men’s Conference in Boston. I called her as soon as I saw this and she was thrilled.
Hopefully, this is the start of something big!
The DRE in my parish thinks that Hillary Clinton is the best thing since sliced bread… Do I need to say more???
I know the feeling, our former Pastoral Assoc once told me and a small group of women parishoners that we had to work had to get those conservatives out of our Church and start working hard for Women’s OrdinationGreat!

Sorry about that Cathgal, I post speratically. He said that Bishops don’t need to excommunicate Catholic politicians like Sen Kerry and Sen Kennedy when they speak out for abortion, they excommunicate themselves from the Chruch when they do such things. I understand what you mean, I have been trying to get my husband to go. However, no one in our lives or parish are interested and he doesn’t want to go alone. I even talked with the head of our local KofC and there are not interested in getting a group of men together to go. It really is sad!Thanks so much.
