Good heavens! is that what I said?
It is a meme. The word "heresy’ is used here incorrectly more often than correctly. For example “associated with heresy” is a meaningless phrase. But know, I have yet to see anythings that is remotely heretical. For example, the below statement:What is “inconceivable”?
If one were to read this, but he is speaking of an act, not a relationship or any other sin, but an act, in this case, tending to the seriously ill for years. In fact, it is a corporeal work of mercy. I have seen acts of kindness and love among criminals. This is no surprise.“I have a hard time imagining how even the most traditionalist, homophobic, closed-minded Catholic cannot look at my friend* and say, ‘That is a loving act, and that is a form of love that I don’t understand but I have to reverence.’”
And when did I defend sodomy?I suggest you stop your apology of sodomy, since it is an incredibly evil thing.
I remember some other guys who hung out with tax collectors and prostitutes…Sure. But again, the problem with Fr. Martin is that he associates with certain individuals who are dissident themselves and this association leaders give the allusion of scandal

He is a heretic.
He’s not my favorite theologian and I have my own issues with the things he has said (or mostly not said), but let’s not resort to name calling. That is against forum rules. We can disagree with his approach. He can disagree with his ideas and point out why we feel they are dangerous and/or misleading. But there is no need to call him evil or a heretic. Let’s leave the judgment of heresy to his religious superiors and the judgment of evilness to God.He is an evil man.
