Beautiful images of Our Lady thank you for sharing all of these.

At Trent- God bless you for sharing this. It amazes me how people still try to debunk the Catholicism but no can do.

Sorry I didn’t get your username but whoever did sculpted Our Lady that is truly amazing and wonderful work.

The month of September is dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows

If anyone has a spare minute, I invite you to visit my profile and look at my photo albums. One of my favourite images is the very early (5th century) icon of the Hodegetria (the BVM pointing the way to our Lord), said to have been based on St Luke’s portrait.

I hope you guys realize that she more than likely had dark skin just like jesus did. They were in a hotter area where people were very tan and had darker/thicker hair. The pictures of the jesus looking as a β€˜white man’ are simply not true. there is a scripture in the bible that talks about how jesus looked. Mary did not look like your typical white woman, im sure of it.
it can also be said that most images of the nativity show the β€˜infant’ Jesus as a child of more than 3 months old… although we must realize that he was a newborn, and they most likely did not remain in a stable longer than the 8 days later when they took him to be presented at the temple as Jewish law required [we currently have what is called a β€˜bris’ for an 8 day old baby boy in Jewish families].
Artists, like myself, tend to show their own style and feelings within the image portrayed,
I have done a painting of Our Lady as a young woman, and am working on one of her at her possible age when she was taken to heaven… she looks similar to people I see in real life, and may have some of my own traits, as we learn from what we see.
It is entirely acceptable for an asian version, a latino version, an african version etc., as we endear Our Lady and Our Lord to our own hearts and minds.

Anyway, there is a statue, I wish I knew what it was called, perhaps She is atop the world, but, She is crushing the serpent’s…neck. I say that and not head because the head is reared up, fangs exposed, and seemingly gasping for air.

I LOVE that!
Could it be these ones?

I will ask St. Anthony to intercede so you will be able to find the statue. Amen.

I also like this image of Our Lady relaxing and St. Joseph carrying Jesus.

My wife, Carol and I live about 15 minutes from the Padre Pio Spirituality Centre located in Barto, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. On Thursday, May 19, 2005, we went to the Centre to venerate the life size Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe which was on display. About 5 o’clock in the afternoon, Carol suggested that we go into Our Lady of Grace Chapel to take pictures of Our Lady of Fatima statue which was loaned to the Centre for the month of May. The statue is owned by Larry and Dotty Concio. I took several pictures of the statue from different positions using a Pentax 35mm zoom camera. These two pictures were taken one or two seconds apart, as soon as the film advanced in my camera I took the second picture without changing any settings on the camera. One photo shows exactly how the statue appears. In the other photo, the statue’s face has life-like features and the entire photo has a gold tint. We want to share this picture with all who are interested.

The favorite Image of OUR BLESSED MOTHER, that touches my heart,is the
one I have on my wall, were she is crying tears from her eyes.
This remines me, how much Mary was suffering, as she watch her son suffer for
us, only to be nail too a Cross at the end. Also OUR LADY, knew that Jesus
did this ,because he love us.

My we always remember this. For those that do shall fine salvation.
GOD BLESS those who follow the Lord:)

Beautiful . God bless you for sharing this.

Our Lady of Fatima Pray for us. Amen.

I finally found an image of one that I was searching for. And I just accidentally ran across it today. The first time that I saw this was about twenty or so years ago. It was an 8 X 10 black and white print that was mailed to me by the apostolate, Remnant of Israel under the guidance of Fr. Arthur Klyber, a former member of the Jewish faith. He devoted his life to the conversion of the Jews.

God bless you for sharing this beautiful picture along with the information.

It reminds me of an image of Our Lady carrying the infant Jesus and making him giggle but I can’t seem to find it.

Wow, what a pleasure to view all of these wonderful pictures depicting
our Blessed Virgin Mary.

Beautiful…God bless you for sharing these…I’m sorry for those who wanted to post their own art work of Our Blessed Mother and Queen.

I’m not really sure if I’m asking this correctly Our Lady is mother to us all so would the color of her skin really matter? and how is a teenager supposed to look like? (Sorry don’t mean to stir up anything)

I’m in my 30’s and most people think I’m 12. 😊

I really enjoy the images on this website:

biblewalks.com/Sites/StJohnBaHarim.html

I have always enjoyed this image or statue of Our Lady of Mount Carmel with the infant child Jesus and Holy souls in Purgatory

I have included more favorites of Our Blessed Virgin Mary

God bless you for posting all of these wonderful and beautiful photos of Our Lady, Our Queen, and Our Mother. I think I’ll post more of my favorites on the thread I started.

Our Lady, Our Queen, and Our Mother pray for us all. Amen.

I am looking for my favorite image but can’t find it. I can’t remember where I saw it–on a Rosary pamphlet perhaps? It is of the Visitation apparently at Elizabeth’s house. What strikes me about this is the simplicity of the appointments–simple table, chair (I think Elizabeth is seated on it), and a jar. It inspires me toward a more simple life.

Anyone recognize this or know where I can find it?

em
Could this be it?
