That’s silly logic.
Pornography isn’t real either, perhaps we should lighten up.

The implication being that: No story, no motion picture or TV show, no play–no work of fiction can ever, EVER, rightly be called misleading, objectionable, or offensive.IT’S NOT REAL Grow up!!!
it is just a book!!! and also a film now. YAY!!!![]()
It’s hurting a little thing often forgotten called the Truth.you can’t deny that it is an exciting story. for me it was the piecing together of the “clues” and such that made the book what it is. granted, some people believe all the “facts” in the story, but that is their opinion and they are entitled to it. who are we to tell people what to believe? they can believe that it is truth if they want but to be honest who is it hurting?
A simple response to a remarkable question. It’s hurting a little thing often forgotten called the Truth.
Let’s see if I have this straight. Ama’s daughter states her observation that the heightened controversy perpetrated by those so vehemently opposed to the DVC has had the opposite effect from what they intended and backs it up with an example. And rather than consider the possibility of “unintended consequences”, JSmitty insults the child (okay, teenager)?! I think I have a clear understanding of what is truly obnoxious here. You mean to tell me that you don’t think that this is obnoxious?:
“my daughter looked over at me and said ‘ya know mom, they are making such a big deal out of this now that all my friends want to go see it, they weren’t even interested before!! now they are making into a big party, Lets all go together!!’”
She was even saying it in response to Catholic radio!![]()
Rarely. Such people, if they actually meant that, are fools. Actually what they usually mean and what I usually hear is “Man, I never heard of that! I wonder if it’s true?” And there we have an opportunity for education and enlightenment. OR we could jump down their throats and say, "Of COURSE, it isn’t true! How can you be so stupid to even consider it? "I.E., you’ve never come across anyone who’s said, basically, “Man! I never knew that!”
If you don’t think that such an arrogant and rebellious response to a Catholic program trying to defend the Faith is obnoxious, then I don’t know what is!Let’s see if I have this straight. Ama’s daughter states her observation that the heightened controversy perpetrated by those so vehemently opposed to the DVC has had the opposite effect from what they intended and backs it up with an example. You can only say this if you believe that Christ is not God. Do you believe that?you must realise that Da Vinci Code doesn’t mock God
I know people (and I’m sure there are all too many of them) who are looking for any excuses they can muster to throw their faith down the toilet (as they feel that being Catholic can sometimes be “inconvenient”Satan loves the fact that people think this tripe is harmless fun. That is how he gets people to stray from God, and end up with him in Hell forever.
i see how that may have been taken the wrong way but i believe that Jesus was the Son of God and therefore not God, but his chosen “prophet” on Earth. plus other religions accept Jesus as an important guy.You can only say this if you believe that Christ is not God. Do you believe that?
