Did he lick her face, snuggle up in bed, follow her into the bathroom etc? Probably, so most likely the poor bugger is infected. They aren’t going to spend the money to treat him and we can’t have him running around as a carrier, so… 😦

Yes, I do not think anyone is swimming the Atlantic. However, this is hardly the first incredible speculation on this thread. For example, Ebola coming across the land border when the only case in North America is in Dallas. Does anyone really think someone with Ebola is going to fly into Mexico to be smuggled across the Rio Grande? They should just swim for it from Liberia.

There are literally thousands of people who get caught crossing our border from Mexico who are not from Mexico or any central American states, and thousands of them are from Africa. Nigeria accounts for over 4,000 caught crossings in the last ten years.

Mexico has zero cases of Ebola. You have to have Ebola to spread Ebola. The interjection of immigration in this thread is fear-mongering over and impossible event, at least at this time. At this time, Canada has a better argument for preventing Americans from entering their country than we do to prevent Mexicans from entering America.

Yes but all it would take is one infected person to arrive in mexico and cross the border. That person could start ebola in 2 countries.
How confident are you in Mexico handling ebola?
 
Just died a few hours ago. Tragic, the body handling is critical too. There are still 48 being monitored from Duncans contact.

I had read last night he was on dialysis.
No one can say the medical team did not work hard to save this man’s life.
I just pray no one else was infected.

Oh, so you just assume the argument to tighten border security has to do with Mexicans from entering America?? Really. I was not aware Mexicans were the only persons to enter through the border.

I guess we can start taking down the signs in the border areas that are in English, Spanish and CHINESE since you have assured us that it is only Mexicans that enter into the USA through the Southern Border. Whoever would have thought differently?

Why in the world would the government take precautions and print signs up in Chinese if the only people ever crossing the Rio Grande come from Mexico or perhaps Latin America in general.

It is very well known that people of all or at least many nationalities cross into the USA from Mexico since the border is porous. We probably don’t get half the news we should.
 
I hope things don’t get worse, especially with those who had contact with him (ambulance, family, nursing staff)

Because it’s not racism because it is an issue of safety. The border is wide-open. What if ISIS fighters came across? Is it still racism to worry about safety?

Likewise, those who use racism in some instances, should be seen to then support no fight against Cartels, Human Trafficking, Drugs, Criminals entering into the country and so on.

And the news, for all we know, Mr. Duncan may have succumbed over the weekend, we can’t trust all the news tells us.

Exactly, you only mentioned that people come from other places and cross the porous border.

Oh, let’s wait until there is ebola to fight it, maybe that would be a better strategy.

By the way, one can not confirm there is no ebola in Mexico and furthermore, there have been some illnesses that have hit the USA as in Colorado and they are not sure where they are coming from.
