I had to research a qualified link as CAF doesn’t accept blogs as links for news articles much less twitter accounts. But they all substantiate the same thing.

Happened to me a few times as well.

I have a feeling that this is going to snowball with the result of serious egg on Mrs. Obama’s face (even though I’m quite sure she didn’t know).

Is this a rhetorical question? It is pretty obvious this administration has no love for Israel,in fact pretty sure O doesn’t much care for the USA either!:mad:

It was to suggest, when we see something in line with the Gospel, we shouldn’t criticize it, but encourage more actions in line with more Gospels.

Now that it’s coming out, it can’t be put back in the box. Mrs. Obama has 2 bad choices that she didn’t have before:

  1. *]Go through with it as if nothing has happened, in which case those Americans who actually care about 9/11 and anti-Semitism (I think we can agree that this would be a huge majority of Americans) would be livid about it
    *]Cancel it, in which case she looks really bad for such poor judgement and not checking beforehand

    Total lose-lose. And that’s not even getting into the people who still harp about the Obamas being anti-American or worse. I’m not a huge fan of a number of their policies (to say the least), but I’m defintely not in that last category either.

If this all truly checks out then this woman should not be honored by our nation, and the administration should publicly state exactly why the honor was revoked. Hate is hate, no matter who it is pointed toward.

There is a saying that I think is very relevant. It is not charity to confirm a person’s sin. Now none of us may know what is in this woman’s heart or Michelle Obama’s but we do know that what this woman said is wrong and we shouldn’t honor people who are unapologetic about it.

To your knowledge has she recanted or apologised for what she said about 9/11 or Jews?

Unless someone did, in fact, take over her Twitter account on multiple occasions, and Samira Ibrahim never noticed (how likely is that?), then it’s clear that she doesn’t deserve anything but disgust. Besides the blatant anti-Semitism in her tweets, she praised 9/11 in them!

How can she then be rewarded by the victims- the very object of her hatred?

The Obama administration is postponing an award for an Egyptian activist who was subjected to a “virginity test” after protesting in Cairo’s Tahrir (tah-HREER’) Square.

The State Department had said Samira Ibrahim would be among recipients of an International Women of Courage award presented by Secretary of State John Kerry and first lady Michelle Obama on Friday.

Now the State Department says she won’t be honored Friday because of anti-American and anti-Semitic comments on her Twitter account.

State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said Thursday officials will first study the tweets, which include support for attacks against U.S. diplomatic installations and praise for a terrorist assault against Israeli citizens in Bulgaria.

Ibrahim is already in the U.S. She says her account was hacked, though the comments stretch back several months.

Yes, hacked, I’m sure, which is why she wrote a paper critizing Arabs for not being supportive enough to Palestinian Arabs (doublespeak for “erasing Israel”).

This was the right move by admin.

Maybe former US Rep Anthony Weiner can join forces with this poor woman to find out who has been hacking all these twitter accounts!!
