The debate may have been rigged; lots of circumstantial evidence that make it appear so, and NBC certainly has no credibility for honesty or impartiality when it comes to Republicans.
That said, he would do well to prepare more in either case. You can’t control the moderator, but you can control what you discuss and respond to, and the points you make.
BTW, do you ever take the time to go after Hillary and her many issues? For someone who can’t bring themselves to vote for either candidate, you spend all your time attacking just one. It makes the notion that you don’t support either candidate seem far-fetched.
I don’t support Hillary. She has many issues. Her abortion stance has disqualified her from earning my vote.
But, criticism of Trump isn’t support of Hillary.
I’m a registered Republican. I registered as a republican because the party is supposed to be prolife. And there were a number of good pro-life candidates, such as Cruz and such as Rubio, and (gasp) even Jeb Bush.
But the party that was supposed to be pro-life thought Trump was better.
Glad you’re keeping score by the way.

If you look back in my posts, I’ve been against Trump since the primary season.
What could have happened is that if the Republicans nominated anyone else, and Hillary would have lost. But the Republicans decided that Trump was a good choice,
he’s even being described as “pro-life” and a family man.
So, no don’t vote for Hillary.
But I’m not going to pretend that I think Trump will be a good president, will be controlled, will not hold grudges like bringing up Rosie O’Donnell for no reason in a debate. I’m not going to pretend that Trump will be the savior of the babies.
I’m also not going to pretend that the Republican party will not suffer, and that life issues will matter at all in future elections, and there won’t be a significant exodus from the party by people like me.
My conscience tells me I can’t vote for most Democrats, mostly because of abortion and that the abortion laws in the US are among the most liberal in the US.
But my conscience won’t allow me to vote for Trump. It is something I have struggled with, because I have not been able to come up for any reason to vote for him.
And my state is blue. It’s been so for decades, only breaking the trend in 1984 by voting for Reagan instead of Mondale. The only thing a vote for Trump will do is cause me to go against my conscience.
I do appreciate your interest in my posts.
