any of those.
Including public sewers or properly designed septic systems and water treatment (not necessarily fluoridated)? No words.

I have a relative by marriage with similar ideas. She is constantly ill, has horrifically bad teeth (as in can’t chew properly and in constant pain), and looks several decades older than she actually is. Not really better off I would say.

We should make a movie about this sort of thing…Oh wait, darn it

I’m in my 60s, haven’t seen a doctor for longer than I can remember and feel great. My wife thinks I’m a handsome stud!

And my husband thinks I’m beautiful-- RR

Then you are extraordinarily lucky. I also recall my father’s older brother who never went to a doctor, at least until he was too sick to function otherwise. He waited too long and the prostate cancer that killed him was Stage IV and untreatable before he even had his issues looked at. I sincerely hope something like that doesn’t happen to either of you.

Happened to my aunt too.

Are you aware of any Bishop that HAS mandated his priests to have ANY vaccine administered to them?
Lets us know.

Peace!

I am vaccinated, but I have no plans to partake in this vaccine. I’m not Catholic, but if the equivalent of what you suggested happened in my church I’d stop going to church. No questions asked. No explanations offered. No tears shed. No hand wringing. There are many ways to spend time with God and I’d start employing a different way immediately.

No, I am not aware that any has yet, although I believe that some dioceses in the U.S. require proof of vaccination against certain diseases as a condition of entry for a child in order to enter a Catholic school and consequently obtain a Catholic education.

That’s a pretty standard “letting you hang around for several hours a day five days a week in close proximity to other people” precaution against contagious illness, though.

For better or worse, rapidly developed Covid vaccines are on the way.

If your bishop were to shortly decree that due to public health concerns only vaccinated priests would be able to offer public Mass and only vaccinated laity may be present,
how would you respond?
Looks like AstraZeneca are now going to run more trials of their vaccine before release, which shows they are trying not to unduly rush anything through.

If my Bishop pretty much forced COVID vaccination for church attendance, I would not take my young family to church(we would watch it online) or donate to any church in the diocese. I do not subscribe to the idea of forced bodily donation or coercion in order to receive the sacraments. Not antivax at all but this is not the way to keep people in Church.

Our bishop requires masks in church- doesn’t mean that everyone follows this rule, and the ushers are not mask police. Same with the vaccine - he can require it, but there will be parishes where it’s not enforced. Mine would be one of them. 😉
