Yes, but lumped together were sins that are more socially unacceptable.

One of the criticisms of the Church or the social conservatives is that they were very slow to respond when abortion became an issue.

Now homosexuality is the thing du jour, and we are criticized for not including other sins.

No. Lack of knowledge or lack of consent do not diminish the severity of the sin. They only diminish the culpability.
