Not to be a downer or anything, I’m touched and overwhelmed by the powerful response to this post and the resounding prayers, but as someone else mentioned, it’s been a week since the abortion was supposed to happen. Either it did happen or it didn’t and there’s not much more anyone can do about it at this point, no point in obsessing over it anymore.

We may never know as the OP may never know. this happened to me a lot when i counseled at a CPC-i would counsel a woman contemplating an abortions and never hear from her again. i always took comfort in the fact i had prayed for them and provided them with all the information they needed -then i left it up to GodNot to be a downer or anything, I’m touched and overwhelmed by the powerful response to this post and the resounding prayers, but as someone else mentioned, it’s been a week since the abortion was supposed to happen. Either it did happen or it didn’t and there’s not much more anyone can do about it at this point, no point in obsessing over it anymore.

I can relate to this. I experienced the same thing when I volunteered at a crisis pregnancy center. The hardest thing (but very necessary) was to realize that I would probably never hear again from many of the women I counseled. Also, I think God in His mercy sometimes prevents us from learning the results of our prayers to keep us from developing any false pride, as if we were responsible for the results.
