Friend getting an abortion on friday, need help ASAP!

Please hear our prayers for the friend of Charlotte and the baby she is carrying.Bless them both.May the mother- to -be feel Your love Lord.May she be guided by You to soften her heart and change her mind.May she realise she can cope and what a tremendous blessing her baby is.We know all things are possible with You Lord.Forgive this woman Lord for she knows not what she does.She cannot really understand the enormity of her actions and will regret this if she does not change her mind.Please may she hear You call her Lord.We love her and care for her our sister is confused and frightened.We love the baby she carries also.Please Lord we humble ourselves before You.Grant this baby be saved and mother feel Your deep love for her.We love You Lord above all things.

I just came across this thread and just wanted to let you know Charlotte that I pray for the unborn every night and I will specifically include your friend and her baby today.

You know, I just realized (for the gazillionth, bagillionth time) how powerful our God is. I currently am about 7 months pregnant with the cuuutest baby boy I have ever seen. He’s moving around as I write this. I’m not married so obviously I didn’t conceive him in a morally sound way. But as soon as I found out I was pregnant, giving him life was a no brainer for me. Which might seem strange in some respects because I have suffered from social anxiety all of my life. I have a fear of being critisized and judged by others. But what I have been realizing lately is that God is soooo much greater than my anxiety. God is wayyy greater than any critical and judgmental thing people can say to me. And God has filled me with such love for my son that seriously I would give my life for this little sweetheart. Deus Caritas Est 👍

Your friend is BLESSED to have a God-fearing friend like you in her life, especially at moments like this. If your friend is a believer in our Good Lord then let her know that He is far better than all of the people in this world combined and His “opinion” on the matter is the only one she should be concerned about. And I second what other people have been saying about getting her to have an ultrasound!!! I think the majority of women who get to look at their babies change their minds. How could you harm someone so precious and so cute?

Just recently there was a crisis pregnancy center in my area that parked an ultrasound out in front of a planned parenthood and I know that at least some of the women changed their minds on having an abortion. We can always count on God!

Charlotte, you have to play a little trick now. You should try to get around that brother-in-law who is “guarding” your friend. Can you just drive up to her home and ask her to come down to see you, ALONE? Then, offer her to go to the nearest pregnancy center and see her baby on the ultrasound. Without any further commitments. Just see her baby and then do as she wishes. After all, if she choses to have the abortion, there’s nothing more you can possibly do for her - except of course to be there for her and comfort her and pray with her, after the reality of what a terrible choice she has made hits her.

But just try to accomplish this one task now - invite her to see her baby on an ultrasound imaging system, no strings attached, no further commitments. While you do this, we the folks here will pray that you be succesful and that God and Our Lady shall speak to your friend’s heart.

Dear Charlotte, I just now read your plea for your friend and her baby. I hope
and pray … it’s not too late. Remind your friend that there’s help for her and
the baby. That this precious baby has a right to live too. Finally, I hope she
has been given the opportunity to see the the picture of her baby in the womb.
Finally, remind your friend that she can give her up for adoption to a caring and
loving Catholic/Christian family. She has options for LIFE !!! Abortion kills a
a life and injures the heart and life of the mother … forever.

Father please give this mother understanding that not even a single sparrow falls to the ground without Your knowledge & how much more so her little baby. O Lord even when Abram, out of fear, hid the knowledge that Sarai was his wife You let Pharoah know that she was untouchable. Father I pray that this same thing might be - let the weight of Your righteousness & compassion for this little one fall upon her conscience that she might awaken to the truth of what she is doing and turn away from it. Father You have made this baby’s soul as well as her mom I pray for that awareness to be made manifest and clear O Lord that she may not sin against her child and against heaven.
