This reponse brings me back to a question I have posed to more than a few on this forum and have yet to get a response. What, exactly have the Dems done ,that in your prudential judgement, overrides their affinity for abortion?Since the choices typically boil down to a lesser of two evils decision,I am really wondering how,say a vote for Hillary or Bernie,or any past dem is a better option. This is not how it is covered in the Voter’s Guide provided by the US bishops. They see abortion as a serious issue that may disqualify a candidate from receiving support from Catholics, but list a variety of other issues of importance to guide the voter. I think it is incorrect to present any Catholic voting for a pro-choice candidate as not adhering to the teachings of the Church.
