Quite right. Or at school functions where parents gather among other places in the community.

@7_Sorrows, are you on Facebook? If so, you should search for a video titled “American Vs. America: Patriotism.” There’s a difference between patriotism and nationalism.

So is this the quarter of Liberals that will be voting Republican in 10 years time? lol

I don’t think there should be any “special” laws for any “special” group.
So if school books include straight families, then they should also have gay ones as well?
Or are the straight families special under the law?
No, straight families are the proper order of life. Heterosexuality is the proper order of life. Homosexual couples, a woman wanting to marry her 21 cats, NAMBLA couplings, a man wanting to marry a pony, they are all “special” groups. No “special” laws for “special” groups.
You are really trying hard, aren’t you to legitimize the lavender mafia and their aims and goals, aren’t you.

Heterosexuality is the proper order of life.
In US law? Can you document that?
Heterosexuality is the proper order of life. Homosexual couples, a woman wanting to marry her 21 cats, NAMBLA couplings, a man wanting to marry a pony, they are all “special” groups.
I think that in our law, heterosexual and homosexual couples have equal standing; a woman wanting to marry her 21 cats, NAMBLA couplings, a man wanting to marry a pony have no standing.
You are really trying hard, aren’t you to legitimize the lavender mafia and their aims and goals, aren’t you.
Nope. I a trying really hard to develop a discussion about what the law is, demands, allows, and makes reasonable, as distinct from what one’s religious beliefs are, demand, allow, and make reasonable.
Virtue signalling does not advance the discussion.

Well here’s the endgame of your “discussion”. If you are so enamored with law, are you going to defend “the law” when someone enacts law to demonize, persecute, and end the freedoms of groups he/she/it doesn’t like. Make Catholicism illegal, maybe? (we are not in the majority). Ban all homosexual activity, criminalizing it and removing all offenders from society, euthanize anyone over 75 as they are a drain on society? And thousands of others. Laws that protect the citizenry in the Western world are based on Judeo-Christian principles. Every law in the U.S. is based on the concept that the rights of one person do not violate the rights of others. Majority rules. Teaching homosexuality in schools violates my right to have my children protected from such concepts. Again, there should be no “special” laws for “special” groups.
