… everyone uses pronouns.
I have no idea what you mean by ‘active’. And yes, those things are being taken away, bit by bit, inch by inch, pronoun by pronoun. Transwomen pursuing rape counselling services in the courts, crippling them financially, because said rape counselling wouldn’t accept said transwoman as a counsellor because he wasn’t a woman. Transwomen erasing female sports is only just beginning but I’m sure you won’t have missed it. Trans identifying males housed in the female estate abusing female inmates in prison. Transwomen taking places set aside for women in politics.Dude, no one is taking these things away. Some of the most active people I know are trans*. And transmen exist.
You see how easy it is to change pronouns to what someone prefers? Calling someone what they ask to be called isn’t “absurdly solicitous”; it’s polite.I was using “men” in the time-honored, non-sex-specific sense. And if people “honestly don’t care” about these matters, all the less reason for me to be absurdly solicitous of them at the expense of truthfulness.
Thanks for correcting me about Squish, though: please give my best regards to her!
