If the analysis of the voice calling for help on the 911 tape proves to be his - he walks trial or no trial. If it proves to be Martin’s then Zimmerman is very likely going to be convicted.

Is voice analysis admissible in court? Can they do it based on a 911 tape? Is there any issue with the quality of the recording?

Why should I have an argument? I have the patience to wait for the whole mess to air out, now the ball has started rolling.

You were the one opining on the situation. I simply inquired about your degree of familiarity with it.

I sure hope healing is possible. With neo-nazis and New Black Panthers and Sharpton and other race-baiters being given platforms and attention, we certainly have had quite a number of distractions and damage to relationships. But, perhaps healing is possible.

From watching the Special Prosecutor it appears that she must have more evidence than the public knows about and it most probably is expert analysis of the 911 voice screaming for help. My daughter said something about an " excited utterance" too and whatever he said to the girlfriend on the phone being admissible. (at least in Illinois and California)🤷

As I recall, hate groups of various types were already posting when I began following online discussions of this topic, and that was even before Sharpton landed in Florida. To give them credit, they are definitely more subtle… - actually, strike that part about subtlety…

When you read the charges it says Martin called for help, if they have confirmed this Zimmerman is in trouble and probably does face a murder conviction. If analysis is in process and later proves it was Zimmerman calling for help a lot of their case falls apart.

Spot on. I agree. She is a mom who lost her son suddenly and violently and I cannot begin to imagine what she and her family are going through.

Zimmerman took the life of an unarmed teenager. Even if Zimmerman acted in self-defense, a young man is dead and that is awful. Zimmerman has to face that horrific reality for the rest of his life. If he could, I would guess he would turn back time and would choose to just stay in his truck and observe and report.

No, I don’t know her personally, I’m simply going by what I see and hear.
 
I find this case very troubling. At the end of the day for me, from the little I understand. I find the concept of this guy taking it upon himself to act like a cop as troubling. This young boy was minding his own business, and walking down the street, that’s not a crime. I have a hard time thinking that Zimmerman at the very least didn’t intiate the contact.

At the very least laws need to change. I don’t care what this young boy was wearing. He was committing no crimes, Zimmerman himself observed this boy commit no crimes.

Same goes for Castle laws, whats to stop someone from luring someone into their home and then shooting them because they feel “threatened”.

Why? Do violent offenders have more rights than people just going about their daily business? There is nothing wrong with the law. What the facts are in this particular situation, we will have to see what happens. It could very well be a case of bad judgement on everyone’s part.
