Again, thanks swizzle.Anything is possible. All I know is that “Zimmerman stated that he had shot the subject and was still armed” per the police report.
There is a link to the police report imbedded in this article.

I know that Zimmerman pulled the trigger because he said so.
Info repeated again yesterday:
"According to [Prosecutor Abgela) Corey, Zimmerman, the Hispanic neighborhood watchman who admitted pulling the trigger in February, turned himself in to authorities and is being held in an undisclosed location, according to the Daily Caller."

But according to posters here people can make a mistake in what they say… Especially when it’s not what they want to hear.
Yes, quite so.Is Zimmerman alive? Is he an adult? If the answers are yes, and yes, I highly doubt he’d qualify for the usual treatment I see given daily, to the photos of kids who have been killed.
My point is this:So have I. What’s you’re point? Once accused of a crime immediately guilty for life?
I’ve mostly seen the one of Martin in the red Hollister shirt when he appeared to be about 12 and the one of him in the hoodie when he appeared to be a bit older, maybe 14, 15. I did find a few more recent photos than that at the link below. The photo at the memorial near where he was shot seems to be the most recent, the most current.I’ve seen many recent photos in the media, all online.
yet that one is new to me too. Others, recent, MANY.
My question: who is the SHE you have accused of projecting?
So people should be screened to see if the government deems them worthy of having rights? My point is this:
is SCREENING sufficient to background-look
at those who really wanna have GUNS?
Probably not always.
Wish Zimmerman had not had one.
In order for that to be true however you would have to make a whole lot of assumptions without any factual basis.Totally - although you did not repeat the problem you question -
**if Zimmerman had no gun on him, self-preservation would have
kept him far away from that SUSPICIOUS stranger. **
Simple common sense tells the story.
Why track down a suspicious stranger
without means of deadly force to protect
you? Who would do that?
I’ve had tons of experience with all three groups.
- maybe the mentally ill
- maybe someone with a death wish
- maybe someone who imagines himself a hero.
The three groups (and there are many more) share: a shortage of common sense.
Certainly not those “people” who are targetted by racism, yes?I think people who focus conversations around race and racial identity are small minded and typically not worth my mental energy. But that’s just me.
You are welcome!Again, thanks swizzle.
Seems some jumped into these threads quite late.
Number of posts is now well over 4000. Some
facts have been printed multiple times.
Yep. Beyond a doubt. And will always be judging by the efforts of those who want the loosest possible gun laws.![]()
Charges are not the same as convictions…Yet Zimmerman had past criminal charges.
Right - NOT the time for gun control issues.
What is inaccurate in calling the Zimmerman white? What makes Hispanic more correct? If race was about description/physical features, then most official forms would be yards long.Odd. Seems to me it would be better to use accurate descriptions, but that it just my opinion.
In this day of raging mental illnesses, drug abuse, biasesSo people should be screened to see if the government deems them worthy of having rights?
The affidavit clearly statesIn order for that to be true however you would have to make a whole lot of assumptions without any factual basis.
What if Zimmerman did not foresee Martin becoming violent or confrontational? Then he may very well still confront the young man. Invoking the self-preservation instinct would assume that Zimmerman felt his life was at risk based on looks alone which I would bet most would not.
Unless based on Martin’s appearance Zimmerman should have assumed he was going to become violent…
Still a lot of assumptions based on no fact.
So criminal and violent are synonyms now?The affidavit clearly states
that Zimmerman perceived Martin to be “CRIMINAL.”
Read the affidavit and do the math.
And?The affidavit clearly states

No kidding.Charges are not the same as convictions…
What felony or violent crime was he** convicted** of that would automatically make him unqualified to carry a weapon?
