Apparently YouTube can’t count past one million.

It’s in the works. From Toxic Unwoke Catholic Man Press, I think. 😉

That is exactly WHY they ask . . .
Interestingly, I was just reading up on Gilette, and I found that the words “the best a man can get” was their slogan back in 1989. This ad was made for their 30th anniversary. So that’s why “the best a man can get” is in there. The way they have used it in this ad is obviously not to everyone’s taste, I thought it was pretty clever.
Just asking questions framed that way is inappropriate. It is a more subtle form of anti-man bigotry, but bigotry it is.
It’s certainly a way for them to get across the message they’re promoting. I don’t see it an anti-man bigotry, though.

Yet just because people other than men, DO this sort of thing, you don’t go out and criticize “women”.

“Women can do better than this.”

It is man-hating stereotyping and bigoted behavior.
OK, I’ll bite. Let’s petition them to run an ad to ask women to stop raping, assaulting, cat-calling, and otherwise sexually harassing men. Goodness knows, there’s been quite the epidemic of that. I’ll try to cut back for Lent . . .

I think if Gilette or anyone had commercials telling women not have premarital relations and to gossip less, I’d be more apt to cut them a break.

I must have missed all the commercials lecturing women on their societal foibles.

Kind of reminds you of the Tim Tebow pro-life ad during the superbowl a few years back. Why did a pro-life ad during the super bowl bother anyone?

The devil made some of his unwitting human dupes squirm and writhe over that, no doubt.

The YouTube counter can exceed one million

They generally dont show an exact counts above 1,000. Though the information is still available.

Thank you Lou2U.

Interesting information.

You and I will have to disagree on the anti-man paradigm of the ad, but that’s OK. I’m good with that.

I use a double edged safety razor but I really want to try a straight razor someday. I have my wife’s great grandfathers but it was in awful shape. I started restoring it but stopped. I think I would have to take too much off the blade due to nicks.

Votes on the YouTube video itself. Even more telling, and probably more accurate, is the ratio of unfavorable to favorable comments. About 9 or 10 to 1, I’d say.
Of course, your “evidence” is not a scientific poll of "viewer opinion. Thanks for your candor.

Works for me!

Blood makes you feel alive! Also, you can’t shave without electricity. Having just lost power twice in the last week I’m more sensitive to that.

Indeed, a weekly bleeding is very therapeutic!
