Little House on the Prarie & The Waltons.

We’ve rented the series on DVD (Netflicks has both). We’re on the 5th season of Little House and the 2nd season of The Waltons. My kids love it! We watch one epidosde every night.

They can keep the junk on prime time. None of it is “Must See TV” at our house - because even if we could stomach the show - the commercials are too trashy.

I love the original Lassie series with Jon Provost as Timmy.
Actually, the original Lassie show starred Tommy Rettig and Jan Sterling as his mom.
Yes, I am quite old. 😃

Well, my absolute favorite show of all time that I wish they had never stopped making episodes of would have to be Star Trek the next generation, but that’s probably not old enough for this thread.

I loved the mary tyler moore show. 🙂

I agree Star Trek TNG… I’m only 27.

I did used to watch Bonanza reruns every day though. I got hooked. I even had the hugest crush on Adam. Little Joe was too much of a pretty boy for me.

Also back when I was a kid we used to watch wrestling when Hulk Hogan was a good guy (he’s back by the way) and you had Jake the Snake and Rowdy Roddy Piper… I hear there was something called Wrestling at the Chase that was good but that was before my time as well.

Other than that, I loved Looney Tunes but I can get them on Boomerang. My 19month old daughter LOVES popeye. I’ve decided that its not appropriate for her.

OH, I’d love it if Dallas would come back on!!! I got hooked on those reruns while I was on Maternity leave. I didn’t want to go back to work.

I couldn’t remember his name but I’m old,too and used to watch those episodes as well!:rotfl:

Oh well, as long as we’re doing pictures:

I miss that family! TV Land is still broadcasting this, but not at any hours I’m home. I have almost all the episodes on video, but my VCR is broken. 😦

And those who remember it, sing along with me:

I married Joan
What a girl, what a whirl, what a life.
Oh I married Joan
What a mind, love is blind what a wife.
Giddy and gay, all day she keeps my heart laughin’
ever know where her brain has flown.
Each to his own
Can’t deny that’s why I married Joan.

“Out of the clear blue of the western sky comes Sky King” (and his niece, Penny).

“Here are Robert Young, Jane Wyatt, Elinor Donahue, Billy Gray, and Lauren Chapin in … ‘Father Knows Best’”

“What a revolting development this is!” (William Bendix in “The Life of Riley” [not much of a show, but Bendix was good in Hitchcock’s “Lifeboat”]

Hopalong Cassidy
Mickey Mouse Club (Especially Spin & Marty) and of course, every male I knew, including me, wanted to marry Annette. I bought her home phone number for 50 cents, but never had the guts to call. Good thing, it was probably a local bar.
Gabby Hayes was on The Roy Rogers Show.
I Remember Momma.
The Ed Sullivan Show.
Hawaiian Eye & 77 Sunset Strip. (Kookie, Kookie, lend me your comb).
Highway Patrol (“Twenty-one Fifty 'bye”).
Friday Night Fights
Gunsmoke & Rawhide, but that was a little later.

Wasn’t it amazing how good these shows were without bad language, immodest dress, and drug culture slag.
That rules out the original Star Trek!
