I’m just going to say that the Glenn Beck Restoring Honor rally is something that this country needed. I’m so glad that I went to it and it definitely was worth the long bus rides to and from Groton, CT.
There may have been one or two jabs with regards to mainstream media’s inaccurate reporting of the crowd size. I did read the initial articles on MSNBC and ABCNews.com and quite frankly these two outlets did a poor job conveying what this rally was all about, the only people being mentioned being Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin. There was no mention of the “Restoring Honor” award recipients, Dr. Alveda King, the numerous pastors and clergymen, etc.
WND did a much better job at covering the event which is to their credit, since Joe Farah is kind of dubious with regards to Beck’s sincerity to the faith when it comes to his libertarian stance on allowance of sodomy, marriage, and disinterest if not sometimes ridicule of the birther movement.
