The name of Muhammad’s father was “Abd-allah”, and his grandfather name was “Abd-almuttalib”, which mean “slave of allah” & “slave of almuttalib” respectively, both men were before Muhammed & Islam, and both were living near the 360 idols at Kaaba in Mecca, that means the name “allah” was there BEFORE Islam, and if God The Most High was calling himself (Yahweh) then logically the name allah should be a false god, remember what is written in (1Chronicles 16:26):
For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.

Can we Muslims ask ourselves why we have taken the crescent moon as a symbol in all our Mosques and some of our national flags, even we Muslims are using the lunar calendar in Saudi Arabia as a standard calendar, in addition that all Islamic countries are fasting our holy month (Ramadan) based on it!

Could it be that Satan is making the Moon his home and he is watching us from there!
(Isaiah 14:12-14):
How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! You said in your heart, "I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.”

1)The crescent is a symbol adopted by the Ottoman Empire …
Elohim ,Eloah ,Allah,alaha

Don’t they look the same ??
  1. Lunar calendar has been used by Jews,

to believe in what instead? the Islamic meaningless virgin birth? had Muhammad denied this as well, you’d be the first one mocking it and telling us we corrupt Jesus’ “normal” birth to make him a “god” but since Muhammas did not, you have to render it as a meaningless miracle the result of a deity’s special mood at the time.
Of course , anything that contradicts Quran & Hadith means its wrong & corrupted.😉

FYI, the word “Allaah” is much older than the word “God.”
What about Yahweh…
Shouldn’t God keep his name throughout his religions…

Your name was Amy before you espouse Islam, so should you change it now!

amazin.
"We
" is used only as the “Royal WE” just as in English for royalty

Allah =Means “The Only One to be Worshipped”

Allah is the name our Creator uses for Himself.

1: Pluralis Maiestatis is a European invention.

2: “Allah” does not mean “The only one to be worshipped”.
“Allah” was the name of the supreme idols among the 360 idols worshipped in the Ka’aba in Mecca. His function was rather similar to Odin in Norse mythology.

3: “Allah” is not a name. It is a “title”, if you will.

Care to try again?

Qul HuwaAllahu Ahad, in simplistic terms, means,

Say! He, Allah is the One…(ahad means one).

See, many times in the Quran, the term “Qul” is used and related to Mohammad(sws) meaning for him to “Say”…to people, mankind, jinn, etc.
OK, so my suspicion in post #7 seems to be confirmed. It is confirming a principle or concept, or at least not establishing a proper name. Thank you.
Ever wonder what Allaluia means? 😉
Since it is not “Allaluia”, yes, I would wonder what that means! The word is “hallelujah” from the Hebrew hallalu “praise” (pl. imperative) and “Yah” which is a form of the tetragrammaton (YHWH). Allelouia is the Greek form, with the same origin. (source)
hmmm man is mortal…so, your 1/3 god, that you claim is not God but yet God in the flesh, is sinful and was born in sin?
I don’t know how many times we have to repeat this to you, but I’ll say it again so that maybe you’ll stop repeating this line: He is NOT “one-third” God! The Trinity does not work like a math problem! You should know what the Holy Trinity is and is not according to Christianity since you claim to have once been Christian. I have never met an ex-Christian who willfully misinterprets the Trinity as you do. Then again, the ex-Christians I know are not interested in spreading Islamic lies.

I know that Allah is simply the Arabic word for God and that it is used by Arabic-speaking Christians. But why is it that Muslims use the word “Allah” for God even when they are speaking English?
Before that I have an issue with your signature which says:

**"…God of God, Light of light, true God of true God; begotten, not made, of one substance with the Father…" **

Dear Psalter,

To you, Jesus is begotten, not made, of one substance with the Father?

It seems you beleive in old discrarded Nicene creed when Holy Spirit seems inspired a creed which was going to be altered later.

Do you still believe in this un-altered creed?
Because according to Catholic Encyclopedia:
The following is a literal translation of the Greek text of the Constantinopolitan form, the brackets indicating the words altered or added in the Western liturgical form in present use:
We believe (I believe) in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, and born of the Father before all ages. (God of God) light of light, true God of true God. Begotten not made, consubstantial to the Father, by whom all things were made. Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven. And was incarnate of the Holy Ghost and of the Virgin Mary and was made man; was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate, suffered and was buried; and the third day rose again according to the Scriptures. And ascended into heaven, sits at the right hand of the Father, and shall come again with glory to judge the living and the dead, of whose Kingdom there shall be no end. And (I believe) in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of life, who proceeds from the Father (and the Son), who together with the Father and the Son is to be adored and glorified, who spoke by the Prophets. And one holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. We confess (I confess) one baptism for the remission of sins. And we look for (I look for) the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen."
In this form the Nicene article concerning the Holy Ghost is enlarged; several words, notably the two clauses “of the substance of the Father” and “God of God,” are omitted as also are the anathemas; ten clauses are added; and **in five places the words are differently located. **

Do you think with your old un-altered creed you still be called a Catholic?

replaced by consubstantial

consubstantial ( Latin consubstantialem ) = of one essence or substance

Jesus ❤️

“Consubstantial” means “of one substance”, MarySee.

Your reference actually rebuts your claims.

The omission of the phrase “God of God” has no significance since the phrase “true God of true God” is always in the text.

Consubstantial
Adjective
  1. (Christian theology) regarded as **the same in substance or essence **(as of the three persons of the Trinity). websters-online-dictionary.org/definition/consubstantial

“Consubstantial” means “of one substance”, MarySee.
You didn’t catch the point. The Catholic Encyclopedia further says:
“In this form the Nicene article concerning the Holy Ghost is enlarged; several words, notably the two clauses “of the substance of the Father” and “God of God,” are omitted as also are the anathemas; ten clauses are added; and in five places the words are differently located”
newadvent.org/cathen/11049a.htm
Why those two clauses were omitted?
Did Holy Spirt told writers of this creed to do omission?
What does ANATHEMAS mean, BTW? And what were they?

Sincerely,

MarySee

The two clauses were omitted because they are rephrased as one in the “consubstantial” phrase. Since “consubstantial” means “of the same substance”, it is equal to saying “God of God”, and “of the same substance as the Father.”

MarySee, the page you linked earlier actually contains a link to the meaning of “anathema” in this context. The page it links to is this one. I cannot provide a better explanation of the concept than is provided there.

In context, anathema is to be separated from, rejected, or otherwise denied (from the believers, as indicated in that page). Also from that page:
In the New Testament anathema no longer entails death, but the loss of goods or exclusion from the society of the faithful. St. Paul frequently uses this word in the latter sense. In the Epistle to the Romans (9:3) he says: “For I wished myself to be an anathema from Christ, for my brethren, who are my kinsmen according to the flesh”, i.e. “I should wish to be separated and rejected of Christ, if by that means I would procure the salvation of my brethren.” And again, using the word in the same sense, he says (Galatians 1:9): “If any one preach to you a gospel besides that which you have received, let him be anathema.”

I cant say ive heard this…
what does it mean?
Allah is great.
… You probably think it means “God is Great” but it actually means “Allah is Greater” Greater than anything you might want to put after…
I think Sister Amy is right.

“Akhbar” is a relative term. For example, my older brother is “akhbar” to me, because he is the first born son of the family, and in ancient cultures that has higher honour and more family rights.

Islam grew in a region that was full of pagan gods. So, when Muhammad taught that “Allahu Akhbar”, he may have been comparing Allah to the many pagan gods of his time.

Besides, the Koran says that Allah is the BEST of Creators, which is a problematic verse for the so-called monotheistic principle of Islam since it acknowledges Allah as the best of MANY Creators!

Surah 23:14
Then We made the seed a clot, then We made the clot a lump of flesh, then We made (in) the lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, then We caused it to grow into another creation, so blessed be Allah, the best of the creators.

Surah 37:125
What! do you call upon Ba’l and forsake the best of the creators?

**Hello,

Allah is AKBAR…meaning GREATER. not just great. No matter how you look at it, Allah created, creates, and sustains what He wants, Whom He wants and How He wants.

We do not decrease in His Kingdom anything nor is His Kingdom increased by us in anything. He is above all human creations and worthy of more than His Creations.

There are limits mankind puts on things. Mankind is limited. God is not. Death proves this fact. Allah never died nor dies.
