I would keep going to the Newman Center and quit going to the SSPX.
You cannot get Catholic teaching in its fullness from the SSPX. Their situation is irregular because they have declined to affirm teachings from Vatican 2, ie they are on record as not believing all that the Church teaches. You will get a truncated vision of the truth, which may be better than what you get elsewhere but is inherently “suspect.” That is not a path to true faith.
In addition, their irregularity means there is no firm connection between them and the local bishop, who has been placed there as your pastor. Not a big deal usually, but it means being left out of the life of the church at times.
Eucharist is a Greek word that describes giving thanks. Give thanks for what you receive at whatever mass you attend. Do not go the way of SSPX, who set standards for liturgy that do not match the Church’s standards and make you think you get less at some services than is really present there.
