Good for you. Now take a course in tactics. There are many approaches to clearing your house. Transitioning around corners and rooms, (cutting the pie), stairwells, shooting in the dark. all present unique challenges. Keep learning.

Wow, that’s too bad. In my state they used to do that, but a law was passed that said the board must automatically give a CCW unless there is a felony conviction or other serious issue. Be sure you vote pro gun right candidates.

I thought scripture was the word of God? Should I ignore what scripture says?
 
I did a few self defense lessons with a sheriff a few years back. One day he took me through a school hallway clearing procedure, how to evacuate kids, think tactical type stuff. It was a real eye opener.
 
Outside the big cities, most sheriffs in my state are “may issue” or “shall issue.” Our recently elected new sheriff was responsible for processing CCWs under the former sheriff. The turnaround time on my renewal and my modification is actually faster now, like 3-4 days.

at your own peril, but i would get a good bible concordance to help with word meaning
 
If I don’t know you have it and I’m not privy to know whether you have it or not, then you’re hiding it from me. Why must armed teacher hide their guns? What benefit is there to hiding their guns?

The commandments, of I’m not mistaken we’re literally wrote by God himself.

No, this is incorrect.
The Church gave us the scripture.
The Church properly teaches us.
And the Church plainly tells us what the commandments are and what they mean.

Your opinion is incorrect.
You should consult the catechism and your priest.
 
Well the Catholic Bible literally says “thou shall not kill”. Seems pretty cut and dry to me.

My opinion is irrelevant, the Bible says what it says regardless of what I think.

Why are you so eager to say that killing is okay?

What happened to respecting the sanctity of life?

That is awesome. Active shooter training gets even more interesting when you have partners. You can clear a room and quickly move toward the point of contention. Glad to hear you are willing to do this.
