Whatever you have read that led you to conclude is only your opinion. It is NOT a fact to state that in 99.999% of abortions there in no coercion. The feeling of being under duress due to emotional abandonment, physical and emotional needs, fear, or financial status are all coercion factors…
That’s why almost ALL crimes are committed. Should we excuse a man who shoots and kills a woman so he can rob her or rape her because he’s economically disadvantaged or mentally ill, but still knows right from wrong?

Should we excuse a rapist because he’s feeling lonely and emotionally abandoned?

Should we excuse people who cheat on their taxes because they feel they need the extra money that rightly belongs to the government?

Sorry, your argument holds nothing valid. Women who murder their unborn children are, in the great percentage of cases, intentional murderers. Either that or abortion is not murder.

Hillary Clinton would force no one to have an abortion. She might consider forcing religious hospitals to support it or to provide it however. She does not object to the HHS Mandate which requires religious employers to provide abortifacients and sterilization to employees, despite it being against their religion.

Hillary Clinton would force no one to commit rape or theft or tax evasion. Yet she does not, to my knowledge, support making those things legal.

For Democratic politicians, it seems, abortion is the sine qua non which must be supported at any cost, all restrictions opposed, regulations opposed, so that the ‘right’ of any woman to an abortion shall never be infringed for any reason. On this topic the Dems are closed minded, a wholly owned subsidiary of the abortion lobby.

The difference is, people are prosecuted if they commit rape or theft or tax evasion. If we add abortion to the list of “illegals,” women who make the decision to end the life of their unborn child and then contract with a doctor to do it, would have to be held legally accountable in some way and suffer some penalty for breaking the law like a rapist, thief, etc. does.

So then, does this mean Michelle is proud of our country yet, or…?
I find that an odd question considering the frontrunner for the Republican nomination actually thinks America stopped being great and he thinks it is he who needs to make it great again.

I suggest applying the same penalties that were in place prior to Roe v Wade. In fact, if Roe v Wade were overturned, that would be the de facto outcome, since abortion regulation would return to the states.

Well, the thing is I can see slave owners in 1860 making the same argument. I’ll use the prior conversation: “If we add slavery to the list of illegals, we could be held accountable for owning someone to work on our farm, and it’s our decision because we bought these slaves in a legal exchange and we would suffer like a rapist, thief, murderer, ect.”

Well, Hillary Clinton did say “it takes a village”.

Someone on here pointed out though “we home school our kids for we have seen the village and don’t want it raising our kids”.
LOL - that’s funny - not a quip I had heard! I have many friends who homeschool and I thought about it for our family once upon a time!

That said, I love my village - couldn’t imagine life without it.

I have my doubts that he will but if he does, I would not overlook the historical significance. But so will it be of historical significance if Julian Castro becomes our first Latino Vice President. Which I actually think is more likely than Cruz. Cruz is just too extreme to the far right to garner enough votes imo. It simply, I believe, is not where the majority of Americans are.
Yes, the first Hispanic President would be thrilling. I also agree that Cruz will not be that man this year.

Just as Sanders will not be the first Jewish President. Who knows? Maybe Elizabeth Warren will be the first female President, after all, if Hillary doesn’t make it. Conservatives, take note: it’s either Hillary or Elizabeth. Which do you prefer?

Things sometimes don’t turn out the way people expect. Hillary thought it was shoe in for her, then came Obama. And this year it’s trump. You just never know what might happen.

Is neither an option?😉

I have thought all along, and said repeatedly, that a contest between Trump and Hillary Clinton will be razor-thin close as well as brutal. In short, a political junkie’s delight!

I’m keeping an eye on this prediction of yours, MB. It’s an interesting one. At this stage in the game, I think if the only choices are Trump/Clinton (and do not include some noticeable 3rd party) then Clinton will win fairly handily.

You pay taxes so young women can have ten children and collect big welfare checks. You pay taxes so men who choose to destroy their lives with drug addiction can stay home - and on drugs - or go to “treatment” and not work, etc., etc. I pay those taxes, too, and I’m not going to need an abortion, a check for minors, or help for drug addiction.

It’s fair because that’s the way our government is set up. It’s constitutional.
Bulloney…

I am speaking of informing the young what they CAN do in their spare time, and then how NOT to get pregnant while doing it. ALL courtesy of taxpayer $$$.

So hello moved goalposts. But I’m sticking the THE subject.

So if we make abortion ILLEGAL, we will have to provide a penalty for women who make the choice to MURDER their unborn children.

Do you suggest death or life in prison without the possibility of parole?
Wow…

Well, since it wouldn’t be available to them anymore, it wouldn’t be an option.
