I’m still waiting for the long list of accomplishments Hilary has done…I can’t seem to find any…

She was the principal author of the sanction on Iran that brought them to the table. That’s two.

I could go on and on and on, but I’m busy.

When universal health care failed during Bill’s administration, Hillary worked with Orrin Hatch and Ted Kennedy to create the SCHIP program that provided health care to millions of low income children. That’s three.

What about the Pediatric Research Equity Act? Requires special labeling regarding dosing for children and information about drugs that could potentially harm them so parents can make a better choice. That’s four, just off the top of my head.

We’re all entitled to our opinions, but I think a better question is: Which of Hillary Clinton’s many accomplishments is your favorite?

One of my favorite “Hillary” accomplishments is the fact that she secured $21 billion to help NYC after 9/11, much of which went to help pay medical expenses of courageous first responders, for whom she fought tirelessly. Number five.

Hillary helped create Vital Voices, an international initiative to promote the participation of women in the political processes of their countries. Number six, I think.

And number six brings me to her China speech on women’s rights. Number seven.

Hillary helped create the Office on Violence Against Women at the Department of Justice. Number eight, and I’m not even to the really good stuff yet.

Hillary introduced the Family Entertainment Protection Act, to protect children from inappropriate content found in video games. Number nine.

Hillary successfully sought to increase research funding for prostate cancer and childhood asthma at the National Institutes of Health. Number ten.

Very important to me because a relative of mine and a best friend had prostate cancer, and another, a child, has asthma. They were helped through Hillary’s work.

Hillary Clinton is the first First Lady to hold a post-graduate degree, and the first woman to give a commencement speech at Wellesley College. As a female academic myself, I appreciate those accomplishments.

I appreciate Hillary Clinton more than I can say, and her accomplishments, like her or not, are just too numerous to list.

And Republicans, Hillary was president of the Young Republicans at Wellesley. 😃

She is a woman to be admired and emulated. Her accomplishments will live on in history forever. I will be proud to call her my president.

I suppose it depends on what you consider to be an accomplishment.
Do you mind if I ask what you consider an accomplishment for someone in politics?

I consider the negotiation of a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas a tremendous accomplishment.

there has been a ceasefire?!
Oh, 7 Sorrows! LOL (I know it’s not a laughing matter) I know you know there have been ceasefires. 😃

From OCHA:

“On June 19 [2008], at 6 am, the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas went into effect. As part of the ceasefire, Palestinian militants agreed to immediately halt their attacks on Israel and Israel agreed to cease its military operations in Gaza. Israel also agreed to ease its blockade of Gaza and to gradually lift its ban on the import of a large number of commodities. The ceasefire is supposed to be in force for six months.”

I just wish I could do something of such importance. Who knows? Maybe I’m teaching a future pope! 😃 I hope so! And I hope I do a good job.

there has been a ceasefire?!
sure …many of them … Cease fires between Israel and Hamas are much like quitting smoking … as Mark Twain said 'Quitting smoking is easy, I’ve done it a thousand times."

there has been a ceasefire?!
I guess I missed that too 🤷 Seriously, that was in 2012 and Egypt actually brokered the cease fire deal.

On a side note, the LA Times is reporting the FBI is moving forward with their case by interviewing Hillary’s top aides and Hillary herself in the near future but their investigation could take several more weeks.

I believe she was also a Goldwater girl. I have not admired her once since she and Bill arrived on the scene so long ago. too many negatives. I am waiting for her Sally Field moment - “you love me! you really love me!”.
