I also wondered why mexican american neighbors just did not vote republican. Then I checked out this website:

Other than the health code violations and somewhat limited access to lawyers, I’m all for it.
Re: Immigrant Tent Cities Under Fire
Gosh, how is this much different than the living arrangements many Americans have to suffer through after a natural disaster? As I recall…many are still living in much less than ideal conditions after Hurricane Katrina…so my heart is not going to break for the illegals. Are they being starved?** No one asked them to come here. Too bad they cannot send them back to their homeland quicker and we don’t have to feed them.**
:heart:Blyss
Are there children being held in the tent cities? If so, I missed that part. If it is the lawbreaking parents…so be it…they are law breakers…they are not upstanding citizens. You cannot really compare the internment camps of WW2 with the illegals being housed here today. That is apples and oranges.** As for telling anyone “I’m sorry.”…lets hear it from the illegals who stole into this country…unwanted and unwelcomed. I’ll be waiting…LOL**

Teehee, Teehee. Teehee.
And then I found another website:
A controversial Arizona sheriff known for making his inmates wear pink underwear and eat green bologna turned his back on his state’s favored presidential candidate, opting instead to join forces with former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.
The Romney camp appointed Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio Monday as honorary chair of the campaign in the state of Arizona.
“The first time I met the governor at a private meeting, first thing he said was ‘How’s the pink underwear doing?’” Arpaio told
FOXNews.com Wednesday.
Romney asked Arpaio to join his campaign in early January after several meetings, said Arpaio, who has made his name with a tough stance on immigration in the nation’s fourth largest county.

For grins and giggles use goggle Sheriff Joe Arpaio. Might clue in why 3rd generation americans of mexican heritage just love love love being asked to prove that they are citizens. And you want them to vote republican. Really?
And guess what. Jokes about wetbacks and beaners don’t seem to go over real well here in the great southwest. Also talk about deporting their mothers, fathers, cousins, aunts, uncles, etc. does not seem to get a lot of mexican american support. Can anyone get a clue why?
Honestly, look through this website re: immigration and mexicans. And you really wonder why mexican americans don’t vote like you? Really? I just see what a waste it is for a political party to write off the nation’s largest minority.
I’m not a catholic. But it just shocks me how white catholics seem to just dislike mexican catholics. I’m southern and I saw and heard white southern baptists’ contempt for black southern baptists. I never got how Jesus, God, and skin color got so mixed up that one group of christians can despise another another group of christians. It’s the exact same thing here. Look at the above examples. Search this website. Read about what people wrote about mexicans who are just as catholic as you. And you wonder why their kids and grandchildren will not vote for your party.
What’s the shortest phrase in the bible? Oh yeah … “Jesus wept.”
