To be a part-time “true Muslim”, albeit minimally, might perhaps be better than not being one at all, God knows best.

However, choosing to be a full-time “true Muslim” would of course be the best choice of all in the eyes of the Lord.

That’s a lie or you’re just ignorant.
Matthew 6:9 Jesus said: “Our Father in Heaven”.
huh . So , Jesus (p) is a Prophet to you ?

I am like unto that one missing brick and I am the last in line of the prophets.’"
(Reported by Bukhari and Muslim.)

Therefore, the Message that the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) brought is only a continuation of the revelations brought by earlier Prophets and the deen (way of life) of Islam has been completed and is perfect in the eyes of God as told in Surah 5:3 of the Qur’an:

That cannot be true. Love and Hate are two different bricks that have different sizes.
Jesus taught love:
Luke 6:27-36:
[27] "But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, [28] bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. [29] If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. [30] Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. [31] Do to others as you would have them do to you.
In stark contrast, Muhammad taught you to kill:
Sura 4:89 “seize them and slay them wherever you find them: and in any case take no friends or helpers from their ranks.”

Therefore the bricks of Muhammad cannot fit into the bricks that were laid by Jesus.

That’s a lie or you’re just ignorant.
Matthew 6:9 Jesus said: “Our Father in Heaven”.
**How many faces have you got for Jesus? he is your man and son of man and son of God and son of Joseph the carpentar. And Jesus is your god and the son of God at the same time. How many problems do you have.

In your above post you are presenting Jesus as a prophet of God. That is another face of Jesus which you need so urgently. But how it is possible that Jesus is a god and a prophet of God at the same time?

We understand the wise words of Jesus who said “O Our Father in Heaven.” That was not any literal father and son relation. It could be symbolic only and a matter of lovely way of addressing God, the Loving God. No More. You have taken wrong meaning of things. Nobody from Muslims or Jews will allow you that however you try.**

Thanks for the info. That we understand. But it is unnatural, unreal and bad. You want us to believe all these things. Okay, we believe you and respect your irrational beliefs. But then please look at your own attitude to the real life matters of other faiths too. You should allow the rational matters of other faiths too.

Even though those ladies take a vow by their own free will not to be married. That is bad in itself. Then to say that they are married to Jesus (to church and Jesus is the church), that is another flaw. Why they are considered married at all when they are not really married? And say that they are married to Jesus is another problem.

Your post was good in a way to explain your ways. But still there are problems, having feelings that marriage may be something bad.
the nuns took the vow of chastity, poverty and charity, a total dedication and devotion to our Almighty God, the God of Abraham, Jacob and Isaac. Just what is your problem with that?
God bless.

Ha ha ha!
You can’t even follow a simple relationship between Father and Son. How can you listen to a prophet?
Prime, Which Father and which son? Joseph the carpentar was the real father of Jesus as it was known to the people all the time. Jesus himself addressed God as his father, and told others also to do that. Does that mean all the others will become the sons of God? That father and son relation is only symbolic. In your system, all people are called children of God.(Symbolically).

We listen and believe in all the prophets and messengers of God, including Moses a.s. and Jesus a.s.

So , what’s your point ?

Jesus (p) never made any statue of himself or his mom , put those idols inside any Church ( if there was really any Church like today’s ) & ordered people to bow down in front of those statues & pray.

dear muslim woman - are you pointing to the Catholic church? much as i respect your opinion, this comment you just made shows your disrespect in our Catholic faith and its practices. you have posted more than 1,000 posts and have read and known the history and purpose of these icons, yet continue to assert your false allegations. are you in this Catholic forum to insult our faith?
God bless.

emarc - she is an islamist and only here to do dawah and try to convert everyone. Won’t work.

Jesus (pbuh) and his disciples would surely have found pews and chairs to be an impediment to the way how they themselves used to pray:

Matthew 17:6 "And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid."

Matthew 26:39 "And he (Jesus) went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt."
The incidences you referred to were personal prayers and obviously they were not in a church or synagogue. Jesus went to synagogues as a Jew, preached and prayed there. There is no record that he condemned the structure of synagogues nor he ordered seats to be taken away. He did disallow the activity of trading and business mongering in the temple and you don’t see that either in churches today. There is no such order that churches cannot be furnished with seats.

If your grouse is that we don’t prostrates or kneel or stand while praying then you are obviously wrong. We have our priests lying prostrate with their faces on the ground during Good Friday service as they acknowledge the death of our Savior Jesus. They prostrates before the altar of God when they are ordained priests as sign of complete obedience in service of God. We prostrate in personal prayer when need to as we humbled ourselves in the presence of the omnipotent God. There is also obviously no departure in the way we prayed compared from how Jesus prayed.

And forget about the idea that Christians should pray like the way you do and that we want to be considered True Muslims. We don’t want to because we are not Mohammedans. Thanks but no thanks.

If that’s not clear to you as to who Jesus Christ was referring to as His Father, then this one should be it:

JOHN 17:1-8

When Jesus had finished saying these things, he looked upward to heaven and said, "Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, so that your Son may glorify you–just as you have given him authority over all humanity, so that he may give eternal life to everyone you have given him. Now this is eternal life–that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you sent. I glorified you on earth by completing the work you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me at your side with the glory I had with you before the world was created.

"I have revealed your name to the men you gave me out of the world. They belonged to you, and you gave them to me, and they have obeyed your word. Now they understand that everything you have given me comes from you, because I have given them the words you have given me. They accepted them and really understand that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me.

Who do you think he was talking to?

I have the feeling that your question is more than meet the eye. There seems to be a vicious underlying motive to it. Anyway to answer the question, which is quite a simple question to answer by any Catholic - Jesus did not make statue of his mother because his mother was still alive. Catholics will tell you statues are to remind them of the persons concerned who had passed away and they are not to be worshipped.

He did not have a church then. He could not just simply meddle with the synagogues because he did not have any authority there. In fact the religious of his time considered him pretty much heretic and he suffered their persecution.

Jesus (p) taught his followers that when my mother will die , make statue of her & bow down in front of that statue ?

Catholics believe it is a yes. For that we are guided by the Bible and understanding of the Bible. Bowing / statues definitely were not abominable if applied correctly. Thanks for the question. 🙂

Jesus (p) taught his followers that when my mother will die , make statue of her & bow down in front of that statue ?
Mohammet taught old men to marry 6 year old girls and sexually abuse them (known as thighing)?
Mohammet taught muslims to hack off people’s body parts to cause the most pain and suffering?
Mohammet taught muslims to rape women in front of their family and husbands before killing or enslaving them?
And mohammet taught muslims to always claim it was their victims fault?

I could go on. And to help you out, the answer is yes he did.

I’ll take the statues over such teaching any day.

How many faces have you got for Jesus? he is your man and son of man and son of God and son of Joseph the carpentar. And Jesus is your god and the son of God at the same time. How many problems do you have.]./

Here is a simple answer: Jesus is Man…Jesus is God. He took on flesh to become man…in order to save us from our sins.

HOW IS IT POSSIBLE? Are you actually questioning the power of Allah??? Are you limiting Him and His works? Are you saying what is impossible with humans is impossible with God???

See this is why I said we are the true Muslims, for we submit ourselves to Allah the most High who created the whole universe and nothing is impossible for Him.

Allah knows best.

Christianity is not based on the Bible, the Bible is based on Christianity. Why did 500 Jews convert to Christianity over night, and why most condemed to death for their faith? Why were there priests before Mohammad? Why did people sing praises, break bread, and worship Jesus Christ as God?? Your Koran might have told you that it is better to eat sitting down before scientists did, but your Koran can not rewrite history. So please, through History and logic, give me evidence Islam existed before Mohammad.
