Theological depth? This is like trivia what we’re discussing. You were talking about building a house–that is where inside and outside comes in to play.
when i was discussing the buiding of a house, i meant that you cannot build your bathroom facing Qibla but you wouldn’t worry if it is facing Jerusalem…as simple as this. and am asking about the spiritualy depth of this commandmant.
what? it is a commandmant isn’t it?
The problem is someone who would deliberately face the qiblah to urinate thinking it’s better or something. It’s not, and the Prophet (s) said don’t do it.
Amy, you just cannot face the Qibla while urinating. We all know this already. Whether someon does it deliberatly or not is not relevent. Am discussing a general rule, not the details of the intentions.
And He says: To Allah belong the east and the West
: Whithersoever ye turn, there is the presence of Allah.** For Allah is all-Pervading,** all-Knowing. great so why is it wrong to urinate facing Qibla and not wrong to urinate facing Jerusalem if Allah is all pervading and if Jerusalem is also a sacred place? yes you pray toward the Qibla, but Jerusalem is a sacred place as well…see what i mean? the reasons given to not urinate toward Qibla apply as well to Jerusalem as a sacred place so i do not understand why the Qibla is a no no to Allah but Jersusalem no problem.
