I think you all are overlooking one important point .What is
sin?
answer the willful transgression of the law of god.
until a child is older they donot understand the difference between right and wrong. sin is when you know it is wrong and do it anyway.
childern are not "guilty " even thought they commit sin again because they have not reached the age of accountability.
and earthly example would be some one who is found “not guilty by reason of insanity” .
did this some one commit the crime/sin ? yes
are the held accountable ? no
