How can Catholics vote for Joe Biden

Translation:
Joe Biden will find a group of people that he already knows will recommend that he pack the courts. Then, Joe Biden will add leftist judges to the number of judges that already exist. And our religious liberties will disappear, as we get more Judges who resemble Ginsburg, Breyer, Kagan, and Sotomayor.

I’d love to avoid these threads but they’re taking over the forum
First, they are hardly “taking over”. There are plenty of other threads with various topics. The role thin will be over in November. Abortion is an evil so if coarse it’s important to Catholics.

It is pretty obvious Biden wants the to pack the court. It is also obvious the left will destroy our religious liberties. If the court is packed Catholicism will be outlawed within the next 4 years.

For many years I have always said that given how Jesus loved children I would not want to be an abortion doctor on judgement day. Now that we are looking at a Biden Harris administration who may make strong progress to vehemently further the cause of evil abortion i wonder what God will have to say to those who vote for them.

One can only hope they are blindingly ignorant and thus are not in violation of a mortal sin. Pray for them.

Not in the slightest. The left is not afraid to express how they feel about Catholics. They want us GONE.

That is hyperbole.
No it’s not. The Catholic church holds abortion to be a serious and grievous sin. If you use your right to vote to support an abortionist don’t you think you will be held responsible for that?

How long have you been omniscient?
For maybe about 11 years. (Just kidding.)

I just think that if we don’t study history, we’re more likely to repeat it. And the Democrats ALWAYS pick Supreme Court Justices who advance their agenda. And they pick similarly for the lower courts.

You are right. Conservatives have not moved more right. The liberal Democrats have gone farther to the left. This is not our dad’s Democrat party. I fear a Biden Harris presidency.

And Trump is your dad’s Republican?

Hysteria.

BTW I wasn’t asleep when Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said the Senate should not confirm a replacement for Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia until after the 2016 election.

All 29 times that a Supreme Court vacancy opened during the last year of a President’s 4-year term, the President nominated a Justice. 29 out of 29 times = 100% of the time. Of the 29 nominations, 19 were made by a President of the same political party of the Senate. 17 of those 19 were confirmed.

All of your presidents took their respective opportunities to put their own justice on the court. A Trump confirmation is highly likely, and once again, historically justified.

“The president has the constitutional duty to nominate; the Senate has the constitutional obligation to provide advice and consent,” Joe Biden wrote in a New York Times op-ed in 2016.
“It is written plainly in the Constitution that both presidents and senators swear an oath to uphold and defend,” he wrote.

Also from 2016:

There’s nothing in the Constitution that says the president stops being president in his last year," Ruth Bader Ginsburg said.
Several months later, Ginsburg said having only eight justices on the Supreme Court is not good

“Elections have consequences,” then-Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton said, according to Politico. “The president has a responsibility to nominate a new justice and the Senate has a responsibility to vote.”

it was your hero Obama who said “elections have consequences”. To paraphrase one of your other heroes R BG President Trump is President for four years not three years nine months.
