How can I respond to..."They are children of Satan"???!

The types of people who think the Muslims are “children of Satan” tend to think the pope is the Antichrist… I would think they should see your praying with them as a perfect match.😃

I remain open to the Will of the Father. I try to pray for the most downtrodden, least loveable. They are the ones most in need. Holy people such as you are already standing in the light and are surrounded by a community that lifts up your prayer needs. It is not this way for the ones I most often pray for…I guess I must be praying for the lost causes but this is the Call I have. It must be comical for you and others of your mindset. God, not Satan, is the Creator. We are His because He made us and everyone else everywhere. In God’s economy, He is Father, we are children…yes even if you are old like me or even if you haven’t figure it out yet. I am confused by the wrath and mocking attitude that some have displayed but then we are not at the same place in our faith journey. My Master calls me to love. I love them all. I do not segment off my enemies or segment off those who differ from my faith. My Master did not direct me to love only those who follow Him and despise my enemies. His words were clear…love. I know His Voice. I know Him and He knows me.

I have an entirely new group of needy ones to pray for…:knight1:

Sigh. I don’t think you read my or Berean’s post very closely. No one said that you should love only Christians–in fact, we said just the opposite. Nor was there any “wrath” or “mocking tone” from either of us. We merely contended that praying with those of other religions is akin to participating in false worship, and gave reasons for it, to which you did not respond.

Oh, well.

I will accept your preceptive assessment of all Catholics since (as you observe) they are indeed discerning in their approach to religious matters . They are indeed Catholic because they are true followers of Christ and His Teachings.
Since you are unable and/or unwilling to answer my question, I can only conclude that you are HARD of heart and I will continue to pray that Christ takes it from you. I will continue to look for but will not expect an intelligent response.:knight1:

I am afraid I will never reach your level. You have surpassed even the capability and graciousness of the Almighty in your ability extend the salvation grace (even though its not even within your right to extend them to begin with) to satan.

Perhaps you should consider also to speak to the pope and ask him to give up his seat to you. (anyone who thinks he is greater than even God should under any standards be greater than the pope)

For myself, I will pray to God ( the One God of the universe) anywhere, especially if there if a chance to help save a soul. I can’t imagine everyone agreeing or being comfortable with this. It is between My Personal Savior and myself.:knight1:

This place where “many people of various faiths gather and pray”, is it an empty building with no religious symbols.

Do Jews, Christians, Hindus, muslims, buddists (et al) all gather in one building and pray at the same time or is it a “shared” building where people of faiths take turns using it???

I would propose the latter or a service that welcomed all to pray.
I pray exclusively to the One Almighty God of all the universe.
Since He is everywhere and I know of no place that He has forbidden me, I pray where I choose.
Again, as before this matter is between my personal Lord and Saviour.:knight1:

Hi again ~ I’m just trying to understand here.

A conversation involved/started in a habitat for humanities where you stated that various faiths gather & pray. I am **not **seeking on how you pray, what I want to know is this:
