I don’t think he said the Bible had errors; I think he said that the Lutheran Church allows a wide latitude on interpretations of the original Greek/Hebrew text, and that he believes the Biblical references of Lev 18:22, et. al. do not refer to homosexual relationships as they are present in today’s society.Well he is Lutheran not Catholic, so he is not going to live by Catholic teaching. I tried bringing up how it is condemned in the bible but he said that the bible might have errors in it. If he is going to say the bible could have errors in it I don’t even know how he is Christian
Obviously the Church teaches differently, but you are correct in saying that he is Lutheran and thus does not submit to Church authority.
