Do some Catholics have sex outside of marriage, and are some Catholics homosexual? What part of the Catholic behavior causes harm?

You’re misrepresenting what’s been said, silly. Explain how homosexual behavior doesn’t cause harm. Because you said it doesn’t.That’s easy, silly!
By being good people who love and take care of and are kind to their loved ones, friends, and fellow human beings-- they do not cause harm!
In fact, that kind of behavior brings a lot of good!
.
That isn’t part of Catholic belief. You said specifically that being Catholic causes harm. You’re flailing wildly.Do some Catholics have sex outside of marriage, and are some Catholics homosexual?
Well if you review the definition of Catholic you’ll find that while it can mean the religion or belief system, it can also be used to describe followers of the religion. Hence being Catholic causes harm for the reasons I’ve repeatedly state and you have not addressed. That isn’t part of Catholic belief. You said specifically that being Catholic causes harm. You’re flailing wildly.
You must be in a world of pain right now…You’re misrepresenting what’s been said, silly. Explain how homosexual behavior doesn’t cause harm. Because you said it doesn’t.

Because of?
It is an undeniable fact that homosexuality (The participation in or desire to participate in sexual conduct with those of the same sex.) spreads disease.I find myself having to repeat myself because you (seemingly) don’t understand what I am saying.
My argument is:
Homosexuality does not cause disease.
Heterosexuality does not cause disease.
Some homosexual acts can lead to disease.
Some heterosexual acts can lead to disease.
So what are the two things that don’t change?
Lou
- Sexual orientation does not cause disease.
- Sexual acts can cause disease.
It looks like you’ve finally found someone who avidly supports your “homosexuality spreads disease” nonsense, Catholic13.It is an undeniable fact that homosexuality (The participation in or desire to participate in sexual conduct with those of the same sex.) spreads disease.
“STD’s at epidemic level within gay communities nation wide”.-- Center for Disease Control
cdc.gov/nchhstp/newsroom/docs/HIVFactSheets/TodaysEpidemic-508.pdf
More than half of new HIV infections occur among gay and bisexual men. Heterosexual men account for only 25%. Note that homosexuals account for less than 3% of the total population. That is staggering…3% spread half of all HIV infections nationwide.
It is absurd to compare the spread of disease within the homosexual community with the heterosexual community. The rate of disease among homosexuals is extremely higher than heterosexuals. Also just because STD’s exist in the heterosexual community is no reason to justify unnatural sexual relations. In other words…two wrongs don’t make it right.
It can be said, based on the spread of disease alone, no one can say that homosexuality does not hurt anyone. STD’s HIV and AIDS are a danger to the homosexual community and a public health threat to society.
Homosexuality also harms society.
In reality, homosexuality is nothing more than same-gender conduct among people who are innately and unchangeably heterosexual. Homosexuality is thus biologically (and to varying degrees morally) equivalent to pedophilia, sado-masochism, bestiality and many other forms of deviant behavior, or behavior that deviates from the normal design-based function of the human being.
Homosexual acts can cause disease, just like any other sexual activity. It is an undeniable fact that homosexuality (The participation in or desire to participate in sexual conduct with those of the same sex.) spreads disease
You cannot say that homosexuality can spread disease and leave it at that. Heterosexuality can can spread disease, too. This is my point. The OP claimed that “homosexuality causes disease” and then said the fact that heterosexuals also spread sexual diseases was irrelevant. That is what I was referring to when I wrote that post. Also just because STD’s exist in the heterosexual community is no reason to justify unnatural sexual relations. Is Catholic13 a sock of yours (same user/different name) because have you actually read ANY of the posts here. Everything you just said has been refuted as completely inaccurate. More than inaccurate, it’s downright ignorant. It’s truly mindboggling how you can actually believe any of this. Please re read the thread. It is an undeniable fact that homosexuality (The participation in or desire to participate in sexual conduct with those of the same sex.) spreads disease.

Just to add on to your comment- STDs and AIDs among women who have sex with women is lower than heterosexuals. The common factor (if we decide simplistic logic is ok to use) would be men, not sexual orientation.Homosexual acts can cause disease, just like any other sexual activity.

Exactly. It’s funny that the OP seems to think this irrelevantJust to add on to your comment- STDs and AIDs among women who have sex with women is lower than heterosexuals. The common factor (if we decide simplistic logic is ok to use) would be men, not sexual orientation.
So much for the “homosexuality doesn’t hurt anyone” defense. It looks like you’ve finally found someone who avidly supports your “homosexuality spreads disease” nonsense, Catholic13.![]()
So, I guess you can’t actually refute my statement. Such a shame. So much for the “homosexuality doesn’t hurt anyone” defense. You guys will have to think of something else to say.
How about this: homosexuality may or may not kill you but it can make you seriously ill. Well, it will need to be polished up a bit and I’m not the best with words, so I’ll leave it to you.
So you believe that homosexuality may kill or make seriously ill a woman? How about this: homosexuality may or may not kill you but it can make you seriously ill. Well, it will need to be polished up a bit and I’m not the best with words, so I’ll leave it to you.
For the third time…you haven’t proven your statement. You’ve tried to falsely equate homosexual behavior and Catholic behavior. So, I guess you can’t actually refute my statement. Such a shame.
Actually I have, you’ve just refused to actually respond to my points. For the third time…you haven’t proven your statement.
