How many Protestant denominations are there?

In the early years, tho, there were groups in Jerusalem, in Rome, in Antioch, etc, all with very different ideas and beliefs.
Speculation before a Dogma is promulgated is not synonymous with ‘different beliefs’.

True.

But the point is that how does that add to the “Protestantism”. Having ignorantly inflated numbers for no reason (I mean more than 2 is bad would be the realistic argument).

So the point is. What the hell are you trying to prove?

And…? No one has any authority to do so. Also, crystal meth is a potent drug.
And I agree with you there!

Yet by that logic I will be counting “him” as a Catholic denomination!

Sorry if you disagree but we need to follow the “same logic here”!

I am saying it and state this very forum as an example?

Would you like me to post threads as an example?

How long have you been here?

Those differences are usually in small things that are not doctrinal.

Yup. What I also say.

So what’s the problem with us? I actually welcome you!

Protestants have different denominations like the ones I mentioned up thread and they have more noticeable differences in their theology.

Maybe!

But what does that actually mean?

I am not sure you “studied” this!

The Orthodox Churches. Arguably the Anglicans
The Orthodox Churches are not denominations, they are true Churches. The Anglican ecclesial community is definitely a Protestant denomination.

They would probably be more united or something if they had a unity, but it doesn’t look that way, but I don’t resort to those arguments with exaggerations and things like that.

Again I refer you to this very forum!

Please just take a look.

Catholics are soooooooooooooooo divided that I am perplexed we are even having this conversation!

Not really, the divisions are different in approaches and such, but for the most part the doctrines and dogmas are held. There might be a dissenter, but that is different. It isn’t the same as the Protestant Church since they also have an external divisions as well as the interior ones that you are talking about.

Yup divisions! So we need to have a definition of that before any of our posts will mean anything to the Other!

I already gave examples of the exterior division and you keep dodging the question.
