I think the decline started with the Labor movement, and particularly the expansion of the weekend from a single day, the Lord’s Day, to two days.
 
I was very little and my godmother took me to the cinema as special outing,both together… Cold winter by the seaside. She was wearing pants. We couldn’t enter. And went back home. Still remember the impact.and I was little.

You know that has to with labor laws, right? And giving Jewish workers their Sabbath off?

Feel free to work a six day week. I’m on Henry Ford’s side in this one. I work enough past the forty hours as it is.

Dude, I’m as patriotic as baseball, hot dogs, apple pie and Chevrolet and your mom put together. I’ll spare you the details of how many wars my dad and relatives fought for this country.

This country was created so everybody can come here with their global traditons and be part of 'Merica.

It didn’t stop whoever was here already from carping every time some bunch of “different” people showed up, including when the Catholics started landing in droves, and to some extent this article is just more of that tired old same.

True patriotism means accepting the global diversity that makes up USA.
 
That human beings organize into “packs” is a universal human trait.

You didn’t disprove my point. I didn’t say Christians never did wrong. I said they were more fair. And they were. The Inquisition and the Crusades were overall good things.
