Ohh…I wonder if animals acted differently ,migrating earlier or storing food differently?Sometimes more berries
In some places means a harder winter.Have all the leaves fallen?

Yep. Keep in mind though, I live in a humid subtropical climate, so it’s not going to get as cold as it might be in somewhere like New York City which, is also technically subtropical somehow, or Los Angeles which has a Mediterranean climate, or Chicago which I think has a continental climate. Think more like Atlanta, which is a little over 270 km, or Charlotte, which is a little under 240 km.

Last year I spent a few days in Charlston and loved the climate, that was in September, between storms 🙂

Yeah, I’m closer to Augusta. Or, as we know it locally, disgusta. I actually found a Blog, that said something very interesting about that City, Augusta has more mild weather than other cities in Georgia, which actually makes a lot of sense, its not in the mountains, it’s not on the coast, and its elevation isn’t extremely high or extremely low. Or maybe I’m just making stuff up, I don’t know I’m going to go drink tea. Yes I live in South Carolina, but no I don’t drink sweet tea.

Great golf courses in Augusta.

Our weather is up and down. Right now, we’re 22F, supposed to get up to 51F with gusty winds up to 40mph this afternoon.

This morning was 20 degrees wind chill 7…So cold when I walked the children to school. Tonight suppose to snow temperature 28 degrees. I love the snow so do the kids especially on weekends. Here in Philly use to cold and snow starting this time of year:🦋🦋.

The low here is going to be 29 tomorrow, but tonight it’s going to stay above freezing. In a few days it will be back in the 60s for the high, and thank goodness.

Hey, did anyone see the meteor shower tonight? I got up early to see the end of it, I saw a shooting star, which when I go for a walk at night I see just about any given night anyway, so it was more like a meteor drizzle to me. But, it was cold, and it was windy.

I forgot all about the meteor shower. I’ve been preoccupied with trying to order the things I’m going to need after my surgery next month. I’ll be on liquids for 3 weeks after the surgery and am having to order because our local store doesn’t have the things I need in stock.(Of course, this happens after I’ve shopped for the month.)

We’re 40F and supposed to get up to 47F. Good day to stay in bed since the wind is blowing right now. It’s supposed to be calmer later. Then tomorrow, we begin climbing upwards. I want the warmer weather. We weren’t supposed to get a cold winter.

It’s a little bit colder here, but that’s part of the reason I didn’t stay outside longer, because it was cold, and it was windy. The high is supposed to get like 58 today, and thank goodness. Yesterday, it was supposed to get to 48, but I don’t think it ever got there.

We were supposed to get into the 50s yesterday but only got to the mid-40s. And people wonder why we have a flu outbreak here.

I stood at the veranda at 10pm ,the breeze just a bit cool, many stars and no clouds.I could hear a tractor in the distance,a sheep calling to its lamb ,crickets, mosquitos and an owl.28c earlier.

Well, the one thing I did like about getting up early, is even though I didn’t see a whole lot of the meteor shower, it was certainly pretty and the sky was clear

Right now, it’s 47 degrees Fahrenheit, 8 degrees Celsius and partly cloudy. Winds are at 4 miles per hour or, 6 km per hour, it is 11:03 a.m.

29 F/-1 C and cloudy here and the wind is light. We had a few flurries earlier too.

Yeah we don’t usually get snow until February. Sometimes it comes early, but not very often. It’s certainly been cold enough, and I’m glad the temperatures are warming up, but the lows are actually going to be colder than they were.
